I was seen here by an ophthalmologist who had "come out of retirement". He didn't bother to take ten seconds to review my health history which details auto immune diseases. He totally disregarded my eye pain, vision loss, floaters and swelling claiming I had "early onset cataracts" which ended up being bs! I'm only 46yo! I finally got into see an eye surgeon who immediately recognized I have "thyroid eye disease" Aka "TED" and ordered a CT scan and extensive lab work. Luckily he caught it right away as I am losing my vision and will start IV steroids soon. I wish Dr's would listen to their patients. All I had asked was he review my health history.

I am a caregiver for my spouse who has severe memory loss. I was trying to explain the situation to the oriental doctor and he was very rude. Very chauvinistic. Personally I would never go back and he didn't help at all, offered no explanations.
