Dr Mathers and his office staff are very professional and knowledgable. They are friendly and welcoming in a very relaxed and comfortable office. My husband and I are very satisfied with the eye care and surgical procedures provided to us. Before and after each procedure Dr Mathers and his staff were accessible to answer any questions and were thorough in their answers, taking as much time as we needed either in the office or on the phone. We highly recommend Bala Eye Care.

I give my highest recommendation for Dr Mathers and the staff at Bala Eye Care. Dr Mathers is the best doctor I have ever had. I have complete trust in him taking care of my eye health. He provides exceptional care and is highly skilled, articulate, caring, amiable, authentic and available. For my cataract surgery he guided our conversation on lens selections so that I felt confident and satisfied in my choices. He and his team provided all the information required to prepare for surgery which allowed me to be comfortable with the process. Post op instructions were very clear in eye care and handling potential problems. Post op, he identified a potential problem, thoroughly explained it to me and got me into a specialist immediately after my appointment with him. Fortunately there was no significant issue found. I felt very well taken care of. No more glasses for me and 20/20 vision!
The office is pleasant and all of my appointments were on time. The medical and front desk are efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. I enjoy going there.

I have been seeing the doctors at Bala Eye Care for over twenty years and have always had a very good experience. The staff are all professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The testing equipment is all state of the art and new. The building is clean and comfortable with plenty of parking. There is an Optician on premises as well with a good variety of frames. (Got the most cool frames here)
Dr DiGiovani is an accomplished surgeon affiliated with Wills Eye Hospital; very friendly and disarming; I totally trust him with my eyesight health and would recommend them to anyone looking for a good ophthalmological practice.
