They have signs everywhere with a no tolerance policy to being rude. They charge you for services you didn't recieve. Then you are rude by telling them you didn't recieve the service. I have VSP. I only wanted an eye exam. Paid my deductible from insurance Then recieve a large bill in the mail a month later. I got no glasses, no contacts just an exam?? Then it's hundreds of dollars? I had Lasix. I barely need readers

I had a 1:30 appointment with Dr. McCormick. It was only a follow-up to an appointment that I had had six weeks ago. It was never made clear to me what she was "following up" on. She just wanted to check my left eye again. Anyway, I waited 45 minutes, and finally left. No one had the decency to tell me that there would be a delay, or to apologize for the time I had been left waiting, or to tell me that I would soon be taken. I was just left waiting! An hour after I had left the office, I received a call -- not from Dr. McCormick, who should have called with an apology -- but from an assistant, who told me that they were wondering what had happened to me! I explained that I was not going to complain to the women at the desk, since they were not responsible for the wait, but I was very specific about why I had left. He actually asked if I wanted to reschedule!!! I said that I was absolutely not going to reschedule, and that I would never return. I suppose they think that posting a sign in the office asking for the customer's patience because they are short-staffed, is an excuse to keep people waiting indefinitely. Don't double and triple book if you do not have the staff to service patients at their appointed time! My time is worth a great deal, and I refuse to waste it waiting for someone to do her job!

Totally fraudulent office. Gave me a price over the phone when I made the appointment. I was very clear with what I wanted, and asked again to be certain of the price before making the appointment. When I was done the bill was over double what I was quoted. I told them it was double, they were rude and didn't care. I paid the bill in full. They asked if I had vision care with my insurance, I told them no; they said we'll try anyway maybe they'll cover some because you have dry eyes. My insurance paid them another $62. After my next visit they said I owed $45 more so I reluctantly paid it. When I found out my insurance gave them $62 I asked for the $62 back since I paid the bill in full. They said no that was from the insurance co, for which I replied, "I ALREADY PAID THE BILL IN FULL BEFORE MY INSURANCE SENT YOU $62". They said no that money is ours! Bottom line is I paid $312 for a vision check up; no contacts, no glasses, just a standard vision check. Then another $192 for 6 month supply of contacts. Total scam! BTW they have signs all over the place that read, "ZERO TOLERANCE FOR CUSTOMERS WHO ARE HOSTILE AGAINST STAFF", LOL. I no longer wonder why they need those signs LOL.

Do not come here. I've filed a complaint with my insurance and doing some research into whether I need to file a complaint with the medical board. 1 appointment and 3 major problems, if you like getting scammed go for it.

No one ever answers the phone or calls back and when I finally drive there to order contacts or schedule an appointment, there's always at least two or three different people sitting at desks with phones. Total inconvenience to deal with these people. I'm currently looking for a new doctor that will either answer the phone or at least have the decency to call me back when I leave a detailed message. Don't waste your time dealing with this office because they make it very clear that they don't care about their patients.

I can't get the optical department on the phone and they don't call when I leave a message. I am so disgusted, I got glasses in November and the lenses are cracking all along the outer parts of the lenses. These glasses are either on my face or my dresser. There is no reason for this. They put new lenses in my frames to replace the defective ones which I hope don't do the same thing. Problem is that if they do the same, they won't replace them again. Their sign states that they will only replace them once. November will be one year. I hope they last til next year so I can get a new pair. Insurance only pays for 1 new pair every 2 years. Will update this at a later time.

Had a wonderful experience at the Brodheadsville office. everyone was so helpful the Doc was so friendly and explained everything so easily, the girl who help me with my glasses was amazing and the girl by the name of Nicole who checked me out was awesome she answered all of my questions and went above and beyond for me.

Absolutely horrible and rude. Was told they take my insurance, scheduled an appointment to walk in and be told nope they don't. And the receptionist was down right rude about it.
