Edward J Chang, MD, F.A.C.S.

I arrived at 1:30 p for a 1:40 p appointment. There were 2 women at the reception desk. One was eating and asked me to wait but the woman on the left asked my name, confirmed my appointment time and my birth date. She told me to have a seat and someone would be with me shortly. At 2:20 p I went to the desk to ask how much longer it would be until I was seen but before I could say anything the woman on the right said, "Let me check you in. " I told her that I had been checked in at 1:30 p people who came after me had been seen. She looked at the computer and said that someone had moved me to the wrong place and she didn't know how that had happened but that someone would be with me shortly. In about 10 minutes my name was called. My husband and I went to the exam room and the woman asked why I was there and I told her and I also said that Dr. Megan Shirley had sent a letter to Dr. Chang about me. She huffily said she should look at that. I told her about my long wait time and that I wanted to be sure I was seen by Dr. Chang as it was a whole hour after my appointment time. She said that wasn't her fault and she didn't know what the front desk people did as that was not her job. She proceeded to to check and then dilate my eyes. However even my husband said she was gruff and rude. She then took me to another room where my experience changed drastically for the better. A nurse came right in, introduced herself and Dr. Chang came in and proceeded to examine me and talk about my treatment plan he and Jill the nurse could not have been More professional, kind and proceeded to treat me like an individual. They explained everything and I was most satisfied with them. It is unfortunate for them that the 2 people I interacted with before them made my experience less than stellar

Dr. Chang is exceptional. His expertise in the field of cataract surgery is phenomenal. I would recommend everybody including my family to Dr. Chang. I am so glad that he was able to do my surgery.

Best doctor and staff. I'm so grateful that i went to Dr. Edward J Chang,MD. for my eye care. He did my left eye (cataract) and now my right eye. TOP NOTCH DOCTOR!!! Thank you!

Dr. Chang was absolutely fantastic! His staff was also fantastic. Dr. Chang was thorough & explained everything. He took his time & made me feel comfortable.

I ended up at Dr. Chang's office because I needed a doctor specializing in glaucoma treatment. I had already lost a third of my vision in one eye and could not afford to not have the best care possible. I appreciate the excellent care that I've received from Dr. Chang and his staff. I highly recommend this office!

Dr. Chang took great care to explain everything to me. He is very knowledgeable and thorough and came up with a wonderful plan to manage my glaucoma.

Dr. Chang and Everett Hurite did a remarkably professional and straightforward job of handling my cataract from the initial appointment through post-surgery care. And my vision is perfect!
