I have been searching and searching for help with my vision (astigmatism) and getting glasses that give me back my 20/20 vision.
I have ended my search. Dr McGahan has gone above and beyond trying to discover and understand my vision issues! I have never encountered a doctor who is that dedicated, that knowledgeable and that willing to spend the extra time needed to figure out my vision difficulties.

As an established patient he won't make time to schedule me for 5 months despite me having a serious condition, that he is aware of, causing double vision preventing me from driving safely. When I asked if he would sign a note stating these facts for my employer so I could work from home until he can see m3, the receptionist said sure. When I called back 2 weeks later she said he refused. He must be fine with me driving 3 hours a day seeing double. Guess he doesn't care if I die or take out other innocent drivers in the process. Extremely disappointed. Don't waste your time with a doctor who doesn't care about his patients or is willing to find a few minutes to see me.

Dr Mcgahen is truly an amazing doctor. He took the time and explained things thoroughly with us in regards to our daughter's eye turn. He made us very comfortable during the whole process and we all feel very confident in his treatment plan for her. My daughter was comfortable with him which is very hard for her but he made it easy. He fixed issues that another Dr made and we are truly so happy with our care here.

Dr McGahen doesn't rush his appointments and really takes the time to explain things to you and answer any questions you may have. Very caring and kind guy. Staff is wonderful as well. Highly recommend, has been the best eye doctor I've ever visited.

Dr. McGahen & his staff are thorough, knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. I've gone in between annual exams with issues before and Dr. McGahen genuinely listened, resolved the problem, and followed up before my next annual exam to verify - definitely not treated as a number but as an actual human. He is able to explain things in layman's terms and goes into detail on things if you're interested, and it's obvious he loves what he does. Prices are reasonable, even without insurance. Dr. McGahen & his staff come highly recommended!
