A Truly Heartfelt Thank You to Barry and Melina at MyEyeDr -Chambersburg !! Some experiences stay with you long after you walk out the door, and our visit to MyEyeDr was one of those moments for my wife and me. From the very beginning, Barry, the optician, treated us with a level of kindness and patience that is rare to find. He wasn't just doing his job--he was genuinely caring. He took his time with my wife, listened to her concerns, and made sure every detail was perfect. Watching him go above and beyond to make her feel confident and happy with her glasses meant more to us than he probably realizes. It felt like he was taking care of family. And then there was Melina at the front desk--what a blessing she was. The moment she greeted us, her warmth filled the room. When she noticed my wife's first language is Spanish, she immediately switched to Spanish and made her feel seen, understood, and completely at ease. That simple act of connection turned what could have been a stressful appointment into something beautiful and comforting. My wife left smiling because of her. The location itself is stunning--modern, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. Their frame selection is incredible, with everything from affordable options to high-end designer pieces. But honestly, what makes this place special isn't just the building or the inventory--it's the people. Barry and Melina turned a routine visit into an unforgettable experience. We are truly grateful for the care, respect, and humanity they showed us.

I was extremely impressed from the beginning to the end ! From the start Mackayla at the front desk was very kind and very professional ! I feel that I got a very thorough eye exam. Nothing was rushed. Every procedure of the exam was explained. Katy was awesome! She listened to what I was looking for in my new frames. She took me to several different areas of the store to find those types of frames. As I tried them on she gave her honest opinion on the sizing of the frames for fit to my face. In no time at all I had the frames I wanted. When it came time for my lenses ( which I wear progressive lenses ) she listened to my concerns about the placement of the reading lens. Very knowledgeable and helpful in that area I must say. She knew about the best anti glare and the transition for my new glasses. She even took the time to explained the differences! I was extremely happy with the cost of everything. For the quality of frames to lenses to the exam it's self. I will definitely recommend to anyone looking for fair prices to excellent customer service. The experience was phenomenal.

When I moved back to this area during the pandemic, this was the ONLY location that actually cared to help me get an appointment. Ever since then, I drive past 3 other locations (that are closer to me) to get here. And I've never been disappointed. Barry is amazing and cares about the person, not just the lenses. This whole team is on their A-game every single day. I would 1000% recommend anyone on this team.

We had a great experience at MyEyeDr. (Gateway location) Dr. Sylvester was wonderful and took the time to answer all of my questions and address my concerns. This was my son's second visit. First time we worked with Derek, and this time with Barry when choosing glasses. Both were very friendly, patient, and professional. They made my son feel comfortable throughout the entire process and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. We really appreciate the excellent care and highly recommend this office!

Most of the staff here were great. The man who performed my eye exam (Sunny? Soni?) was very warm and personable and Derrick was very helpful with picking out frames that were in my budget and explained all my insurance coverage thoroughly. My issue was with the schedulers. I picked my exam time online, there were a number of appointment times open and that's what fit best with my schedule. 2 days before my appointment I received a call asking me to come in earlier with no reason provided. It wasn't convenient for me, but I thought maybe they needed to close early so I obliged and told them 9:30 was the earliest I could come in. They said "okay, so 9:20". Ok. Fine. The night before my appointment they called me again, once again asking me to come in earlier with no explanation why. I said if it was absolutely necessary I would, but I would prefer not to. At this point I would have preferred switching my appointment to a different day rather than being pressured to come in even earlier. They sounded incredulous that I declined to come in earlier even though I already moved up my appointment by 1.5 hours. If they had told me "we need to either get you in earlier or move your appointment to a different day, which works better for you?", that would have been perfectly fine. But I don't understand the constant pressure to keep changing my appointment time and is something I have never experienced elsewhere. As someone who is a first time client, I nearly just canceled my appointment altogether to seek out a different provider. I'm hoping this was a one off and not a habitual issue.

I have nothing but great things to say about the MyEyeDr on Gateway Avenue in Chambersburg, PA. I travel 50-ish minutes one way to go there, and it's worth it. Everyone is super friendly. I've had to get my glasses adjusted twice so far and each time, Katy has been superb! She takes literally a few minutes and they're perfect each time! If you need adjustments, ask for Katy!

I am very pleased with the experience we had at this MyEyeDr. location. My daughter went in to get her first pair of glasses and the team was professional, kind and attentive. My daughter was seen by Dr. Sylvester, who was great with my young child. Barry Smith, Optician, was especially thoughtful and went out of his way to make sure our needs were met. I would recommend that others go to this location to have vision checked, get new glasses, etc. Great thanks to the awesome management of this location for a well run ship!

After a bad experience at another eye doctor, I went to Myeyedr. on Gateway Ave. Chambersburg. What a difference! They were helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. They helped pick frames for my face and my needs. They explained everything and gave me all the important why's. They took time and made me feel important! It was truly a 5 star experience! Derek was the best and helped me from the minute I sat down in the chair. The ladies at the front desk were friendly, helpful and made sure I knew what I was doing. Barry and Katie gave helpful advice, as well! Overall, I highly reccommend them. They made sure I loved my new glasses. I walked out feeling like I got the best glasses for me! Thank you for what you do!
