I've been a patient at MyEyeDr for the past 3 years and I don't know what has happened with their staff and management, but I have had a very disappointing experience with them since my annual appointment in August. It began with an eyeglass order that was "lost" in shipping. No one reached out to me, I finally called after waiting 3 weeks to see what the delay was. A new order was placed. Again, no contact from anyone. 3 weeks later I stopped in and was told they were on back order and could take "up to 6 months." It was recommended I pick out a back up pair that would be kept in my profile and it was agreed that I would wait 2 more weeks for my original choice to arrive, and if not, I would call and the back up choice would be ordered. A week later I got a call that my glasses were in-they were the back up pair. The manager did make good and offered me any frames in the office to choose from. So then there were my contacts. I ordered a 6 month supply of monthly lenses. They came in and with the first fresh pair everything was blurry. I stopped in to explain my concerns and was told I needed another lens fitting appointment. Fine. The prescription was confirmed and it was determined that maybe it was a defective box so a trial pair was ordered. If they were ok, I was told a new 6 month supply would be ordered to replace the first ones. The trial pair was fine. New ones were ordered, or so I thought. Over 3 weeks passed so today I called, and it was clear after being put on hold several times that someone dropped the ball, again. That my lenses were in. I went to pick them up only to find that they were a single trial pair, not the 6 month supply. And the manager was conveniently on what sounded like a 3 hour lunch break. If I wanted to wait 15-20 minutes I could talk to him. I said I'd come back tomorrow, at which time I was told lunch is between 12-12:30 and 3, so come before or after that. I've not experience customer service this consistently poor anywhere. The only reason I gave any stars is because of Dr Petronius, who is lovely. I won't be going back, that's for sure.

Had the most amazing experience at my eye doctor visit today. To begin with the receptionist greets you as soon as you cross the seal of the door. She checks me in and gets right down to business. With this being an annual visit I had paperwork to fill out. Well all the areas that could have pre populated information had already been filled out. I waited oh 3 minutes for my appointment with the doctor, while I was waiting I figured I would check out some of the frames, well I picked up my first pair and I was being called back for my pre exam. The young lady was pleasant, polite and efficient. After my time with her, I immediately went to see the Dr. who I'm proud to say has been my same doctor for the last 4 years. My final stop was with Alana who was the cherry on top of an amazing experience. She helped me choose the best frames to fit my face. She was very professional and precise. I look forward to coming here again next year!

I've been to this practice since 4th grade before it was my eye doctor. Never had a bad experience. Since changing to my eye doctor, I've been hounded by emails saying that we have unused insurance benefits available. I called to make a routine appointment, and was called 30 minutes before the appointment to say that they don't take our insurance but they could self-pay the appointment. When I asked why I'm being emailed that we have unused insurance benefits, they stated that those emails are automated spam. I didn't appreciate the customer service either.

I had a wonderful experience at MyEyeDr. The staff was so helpful and supportive, taking every step and the time to get me to a specialist the very same day. They even put up with my tears and made me feel truly cared for. I never once felt like a bother--they did everything they could to support me through a stressful situation. Elena was so nice and helped me pick out the right glasses! She was such a delight, I've never experienced better customer service. She was ready to help immediately, I didn't have to wait at all. Overall, it was a very positive environment, and I will definitely be coming back here for all future eye doctor appointments.

Very poor experience and no accountability I ordered two pairs of glasses for in-store pickup, not shipping. When I went to the store, they only gave me one pair. The second pair was never delivered. After following up, the store now claims that the second pair was "returned" and says they cannot do anything about it. This makes no sense, since the order was for in-store pickup and I never received the second pair in the first place. Customer service took no responsibility and offered no resolution, refund, or replacement. I do not recommend this store. If there is an issue with your order, you are left with no help and no solution.

My exam took place on November 10. It is now December 30. I have been told several times that my glasses "have not arrived" and are "lost in the mail." Boxes can be tracked fairly easily nowadays, so I don't buy it. This is a problem with their lab. The last time I got glasses at My Eye Doctor they had to be returned because the measurements for the lenses were incorrect. I will be going in today. If they do not have my glasses, the order will be canceled and you will no longer be "My Eye Doctor." I never had problems when this office was Chester County Opticians.
