West Eye Associates, LLP

My mom had issue with her lense implant and we were referred by her eye surgeon to Dr. O. at their Carlisle location. Dr. O. and her office staff were great with my mom. Overall a very positive experience for my mom.

Dr's Alexis and Tyler are fantastic optometrists. They are thorough with their exams and take the time to answer all my questions. I never feel rushed when I'm there for my eye exams. Additionally, and an added plus...their staff is also very pleasant and professional. If you're looking for a new optometrist...I highly recomemndd West Eye Associates.

Dr Steven West has been my Optometrist For at least 12 years. I got word from the former practice (without mentioning names) that the my appointment was cancelled I did a search online for Dr. Steven West OD. and West Eye associates came up and there was Dr. West smiling. Dr West actually cares About you. He will let you make the Decision about your eyes and no pressure. You can't go wrong with Dr. West also his staff makes you feel More like family. My wife also is a Patient of Dr. West for as long as I was going. I can only give Dr West 5 stars i would give West Eye 10 stars if I could

The exam and friendliness of office staff were very good, BUT getting the glasses was very disappointing. My teen son had no glasses because his were lost (then we did find them but they were damaged). We ordered his glasses at the exam, and were told that it could take up to 10 business days, but that it wouldn't actually take that long. He had the appointment on a Thursday morning and we were desperately hoping we could get the glasses by the following Friday afternoon, about 8 days. I requested possibly paying extra to expedite and they said there's no way to expedite the lab/putting the lenses in the frame; and the shipping is already expedited. When I called on that Friday they said no luck, AND said that it could take...10 to 12 business days!! Really? Not what we were told before, and 12 business days is over 2 weeks- we would have taken his prescription elsewhere to get the glasses made up. Bitter sweet that the glasses came on Monday, we had really needed them over the weekend! Its one thing to wait 2 weeks for glasses when you have a pair, and the new pair is just a slightly stronger prescription. One can easily wait 2 weeks- No problem. But when its an active teen, who needs to drive, and he has no glasses or damaged ones- this is ridiculous. Since they were ready for pick-up on Monday- I bet the lab shipped them overnight express on Friday. So- if they had been shipped to our house, we could have gotten them on Saturday! Would have been a huge help! Why were we not allowed to do that? Theres no way, in 2025, to get glasses in 5 days? Strange, we used to be able to do it. Apparently the world got worse during covid and its never going to recover.

My doctor recently switched to this practice and I will not be back. I found the office staff to be unfriendly. I received a bill for my appointment which surprised me because it should have been covered under my vision plan. After researching they changed my appointment without my knowledge to a medical appointment. Apparently if they talk to you about anything other than your actual exam they can do this and without your consent or knowledge. Never in all my years of wearing glasses have I had this happen.

An exceptional care team. From the front desk administrator Nichol to the entire optometry team this group is outstanding! An comprehensive patient first experience. Dr. West provides incredible patient care and the referrals he made to other professionals when I needed them were superior. Nichol is a real advocate when scheduling and making sure all is in order.

This office is great. Dr. O is fantastic. Everyone who works there is great. I've been going to the eye doctor for 35 years, and this is by far the best in the business.

I've never had a real eye exam before and I was definitely feeling nervous but Dr. Crouse immediately made me feel at ease! Because it was my first time he educated me on the "why" of everything we were doing and made sure to set my expectations so that nothing caught me off guard. After my appointment, I found glasses thanks to a very patient and kind younger lady that helped me understand my out of pocket costs and everything before deciding on a pair.
