I brought my daughter for her annual eye checkup. The appointment was easily scheduled. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. We waited less than a minute before my daughter was called. The appointment itself went quickly. The ophthalmologist, Dr. Barouh, was efficient and came out to the waiting room to provide updates and results of the appointment. Great staff, clean premises, efficient timing.
Dr. Clark was professional and very friendly. The staff from the receptionists to the nurses were also very professional and friendly. Building and equipment was new and modern. Overall 5 stars out of 5 stars.
Easy check-in, I was seen fairly quickly, my doctor was very courteous, pleasant and professional, and easy to chat with, check-out was smooth with no problem. The tech who first saw me and both staff persons at the front desk were efficient and courteous.
Dr Clark is a very kind physician who has an excellent reputation for his surgical expertise. My mother, wife and myself have had cataract surgery all with perfect healing and results. He has a very busy practice but he is never rushed, and always gives ample time for each patient. He is an excellent communicator, and will answer all of your questions.
My appointment was for a laser treatment following up after my cataract surgery.. Previous appointment I was told they would make an appointment and they would do this so I could see better out of my left eye. I got into the exam room they swore it was for glaucoma testing. There was banter back-and-forth. So I just gave up. Went to the desk to make an appointment for a glaucoma testing in six months and I was told well you already have an appointment booked in a couple months. So actually, this appointment was for the laser and not for glaucoma testing, which was in schedule for in a couple months. Something is going wrong in this office.
From the people at the front desk, to the nurses(assistants), to Dr. Barouh, they are all friendly, skilled, and very good at what they do. Dr Barouh makes you feel comfortable while she clearly explains options and answers questions. I highly recommend this practice.
Actual visit with Dr. Mira Amin, MD was professional. However, the office staff is horrible to deal with- they have constantly sent my critical eye drop prescription many different times to the incorrect pharmacy. This was clearly stated during my medical examinations, to send the prescriptions to the correct pharmacy and correct location. Once again, this week, the girl sent my prescription to some other pharmacy. Trying to actually speak to someone in the office to get this resolved is impossible. Staff never answered their telephone, always going to voice mail. I never received a return telephone call. And this matter is still not resolved at this writing.
This office actively engages in fraud. I paid a copay in the office and then shortly after found out my insurance paid the same thing, so they collected twice for this amount. When I informed them of this, they acknowledged their mistake and said I would receive a refund in 6-8 weeks. Several months later, and still no refund and it's very difficult to get anyone on the phone. I would not recommend this practice to anyone as they actively engage in fraud.
