TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! what's the point of making an appointment if you're still waiting 30+ minutes and STILL not see a doctor? I came in at the exact time of my appointment, and was met by a waiting room with 6 people ahead of me. No one greeted me or even gave me papers to fill out. I watched as the "staff" stood around and made jokes with each other. HIGHLY don't recommend... Stay far away from here.

My experience at this location was amazing, I can't speak for the other reviews I've seen. The staff here were very helpful and even offered to see me as a walk-in after my daughters were seen. I hadn't had an eye exam in years and they took me right in. Very professional in my opinion, I'd recommend to anyone who wants great eye care. By the way, their frame selection for insurances is amazing! You can really tell they take their time when selecting.

Absolutely, the worst customer service i've ever experienced. The doctor is nice but the women who work here are just miserable and utterly rude. Their customer service philosophy is "Your service is not our priority" -- IT IS EVEN POSTED ON THE WALL "Your emergency is not our priority" or something to that effect. I used them once several years ago and was taken aback by the rude assistants and I just stopped in the other day to ask how much an Exam was and stood there at the front desk for 20min before I finally yelled "excuse me" and was met with flippant rude attitude. I'm really not sure how people can be so ignorant and mean but I wouldn't certainly not recommend this place.

I have been going to this location since a child. My experience here was never the best but due to the insurance I had it was the only location my mom could afford to take me. Now I am working for a hospital and have better insurance I still remain a patient there. Have not been to this office in about 2 years and I called this morning to make an appointment. When calling the associate on the other end Answered, "Hello." I then replied is this the Philadelphia Vision Center she then stated Yes. Still confused as to the manner of how she answered the call I went to say I wanted to make an appointment at the center for me and my husband on a weekend if possible. Instead of answering okay can I get your information she states well it will depend on your insurance. I then stated I am a patient and have been seen before and have my insurance through my employment in which you have taken before. She then with an attitude stated well I still need the information of you insurance, and name to be able to see if we can take you. I will not be going back to this center my family will be going else where. To a place that can at least answer their phones professionally.

Oh my goodness. The doctor is great. One of the employees was extremely rude. She acted like she hates her job. I felt kinda sorry for her. If it wasn't for Covid I would have given her a hug. I would recommend her a change of occupation because she clearly shouldn't work there. She is miserable.

This and all medical facilities here in berks county require masks which is fine with me. But unlike other medical facilities this one will not provide a masks. In order to enter you need to get buzzed in which is also fine. The employees here are rude and lazy. They wouldn't buzz me in or come to the door to at least tell me where I can get a mask being as they won't provide me with one. Instead they all sat there making weird sign language at me that I can't understand. After about five minutes of me yelling threw the door like I can't understand you tell me where I can get a mask. One of them came to the door yelled and directed me to a cvs. I don't live in reading so I don't know where things are here. Had there not been a cvs down the block I would've driven 30 minutes just to have the employees make sign language from inside at me and miss my appt for myself and my 10 year old daughter. The front end manager is and angry rude woman as well no wonder the employees act the same. The only good thing here is the doctor he is so pleasant and very good at what he does. He's the only reason I still come here. But sadly this will be my last visit here. Threw out the years things do not change they just get worse. Might I add this office never answers their phone!!! It's a mess here. Berks county beware

Not even kissing ass with this but I've never ever had an issue with this place. they've always been consistent and have never given me a problem. The ladies are super sweet to me whenever I'm there. The waiting time isn't long at all. My glasses are always there a week or a few days earlier than expected. Whoever is complaining is literally bitter.

Horrible customer service. The male eye doctor was respectable he named all of the instruments he use while he examined my 5yr and answered his questions. The receptionist of the other hand and the female eye doctor were horrible. She didn't even want to give me my child's prescription when I asked. They probably could care less about the bad reviews they get.
