I was desperately looking for an eye doctor for my daughter and a lot of people recommended dr. Margo I just want to say since the minute we walked in I loved it he really cares for his patients made my daughter feel supper comfortable and I love how he's old school I loved it .

I was looking for a close by optometrist and found this office. I called on Monday and already had a new patient appointment scheduled for me and my son by Thursday. The receptionist was polite, the office was very welcoming and fun to look at all his art. The doctor was very patient with me and my child and very knowledgeable. I would recommend and I will definitely be going back

What a great experience! Everyone in the office is incredibly courteous, friendly, and helpful, and I will be happy to return! The optometrist is a pleasant individual who takes his time with patients to ensure their satisfaction. Ask the staff are familiar with the insurance plans the office accepts, and everyone makes the experience of an eye exam and shopping for glasses an experience free of challenges and difficulties.

Loved it here. The vibe is very welcoming and cheerful. The assistant very nice and her laughing is contagious. Found my daughters problem and we are waiting for her glasses The eye doctor is very good at what he does. I wish i wouldve known sooner about this place. Went to one in west reading and all they did was put eye drops that seemed to burn then tell me my daughter didnt need glasses.. Ill be making an appointment for myself in the near future

So 2 years ago I got hit in the eye with a stick and went to Doctor Magro who assured me it would be fine but never informed me that it would be billed towards my medicaid insurance and I would lose my eye exam coverage until I wasted my time & walked to his office 3 months later for my eye exam and was told I did not have insurance. I called my insurance to find out what was going on and they told me. I explained to them that he never told me how it would be billed and can they reinstate my insurance for my exam and they said no. Last year I decided to splurge and went to America's best to get 2 pair of glasses. So I set up an appointment for February 17th at Magro's office and walked down there and when I went into his office he asked me what happened with my eye and it said to clear it up fine. He said it really pissed him off that I called the insurance company and obviously did not see me for my exam and wasted my time again. He actually wrote a note on my cards to remind himself to confront me. This is really how the professional world acts. Be wary

I've been going there for over 20 years and it is an excellent place to go. The doctor is very informative n helpful n straight up forward with advice. Any issues I'd have with my sight or eye problems he'd always fit me right into his schedule even if his office is really busy. When my mom was alive she went to him n to this day my kids bein grown up still go to him n they have a wonderful experience there to. My son is special needs n this doctor had patience with working with my son n helping him to get his exam done n got him the glasses he needed. And the staff are very helpful n courteous n know what their doin as well. A very positive atmosphere there n I would recommend anyone to this place.

I grew up going to this place 20 years with that being said about 3 years ago I was upset because of the receptionist working there was very rude ... I started to go to Walmart for 2 yrs but just took too long to see the eye doctor when I needed to be seen ASAP I went back to this place and the whole attitude changed she was very nice and I hope it stays that way. Overall the eye doctor is very kind and you just don't want to go into a place where you're treated badly.

I've been here several times throughout my years. My father and I have had some instances where, understanding the hours, found out that they were closed on a particular Saturday. In another instance, we called ahead for their hours, came promptly, and only upon arrival were informed that walk ins wouldn't be accepted. That's really helpful information for someone calling you for your hours on that particular day. I feel sorry to say all this, but this place is not worth going to unless you have no other means. While the service there is, for lack of a better word, "serviceable" the place has a quality to it that still feels quite subpar. No offense to the doctor, but my experience had been better at each other location I've been to. This doesn't include the difficulty of finding parking on Penn Street. More evidence that the place is more for those who live in that particular area. I highly recommend elsewhere, but if you must don't fret too much about having to go here.
