Aw, they rescue pets, that's great. Really needed to get my prescription changed, was having trouble seeing at night. The exam was good, changed my script and I got anti-glare lens. I wanted the big black nerdy frames and they had them here, nice selection. I got two pairs, dark blue ones too. Nice experience, friendly people, big new store. The prices are good and they don't pressure you to add on extras.

Even though I had a bad experience 5 years ago I thought I would give them another chance. I waited two weeks to pick up my glasses only to find out that they ordered sunglasses instead of my regular glasses.They told me my new glasses would be in in a day or two.Two days later I called they told me my glasses reason when I went to pick them up they weren't.This was a Friday waited till Monday called again and they told me it would be another 4 to 5 days before my glasses would be in. My previous bad experience with them I brought my glasses in for an adjustment they were perfectly fine when I left they had scratches.At first they told me that they would be replaced waited two weeks and then they told me that my insurance wouldn't cover it. From their newest employee to their manager no one offers any customizations I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I take my son there. The staff is friendly, we never had to wait more than a few minutes for our appointment and they fixed my son's glasses that we purchased there with no complaints or charge to us. I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews but we have had a good experience.

This was my first visit to Eyeland Optical Stroudsburg. I was very impressed with the helpfulness of the staff and the extremely friendly environment. The doctor who examined my eyes was absolutely wonderful. It was a very thorough exam and she answered all my questions in a way that I understood and she very patiently kept clicking the lenses back and forth for me to decide which was better. I never felt rushed at any point and I highly recommend the services of Eyeland Optical.

I got New glasses in June, it took a month to get them and the transitions did not work. So I took them back and it took another month,and no difference, transitions did not work. So I took them back again and I had to pay $98 more, I refused since I already paid $358,which is the most I ever paid for a pair of glasses. So needless to say they still don't get dark in the sun and I hate my glasses and will never buy glasses there again and I do not recommend eyeland.

Literally I ordered glasses 4 weeks ago and they still haven't arrived. I went in at the beginning of week 3 and they told me they were being shipped as we spoke, then yesterday I called and they said " you're frames are on back order, so come in and pick something else out". Now how could they of shipped my glasses if my frames were on back order? Makes no sense. I honestly feel that they completely forget to order my glasses the day I picked them out and just kept telling me lies instead of the truth. 7-10 days my ass, try 4 weeks and a bunch of morons telling lies. Worst service ever. Will never go back again after this.

Do not go to this place! My fiance and I waited over an hour PAST our scheduled appointment time just to get the paper work to fill out. Once we got the paperwork, Eyeland optical in Stroudsburg claimed to not support our insurance. Once we got on the phone with the insurance company, we handed the phone to the lady at the desk (her name was Grace-make sure you avoid her), she proceeded to ARGUE with the insurance representative to the point where the insurance rep hung up on her. Need I remind you that this was over an hour passed out scheduled appointment time at this point. We never got seen by the doctor, because Grace told us that everything would be out of pocket even when they supported our insurance. Additionally, the woman at the desk was making personal phone calls, and snapped at me numerous times for being patient. Avoid this place!

My husband went to Eyeland to get progressive lenses. When he picked up the glasses, they didn't work. He couldn't see either near nor far. They refused to correct them, insisting that the prescription was right. He went to his previous eye doctor and got a copy of his prescription from 2 years ago, and the old prescription was much stronger than the new. How could it be possible that his eyes have gotten so much better. The prescription from Eyeland is wrong and they refuse to admit it and make it right. DON'T BUY GLASSES FROM THEM.
