I was a customer for many, many years, and when I left to move to Florida 2 years ago and I haven't found an eye doctor and staff that treat their customers like extended family. I called the other day, and I had to ask a guestion about getting my records, and the staff was awesome, and there aren't that many eye doctors left like Mr. Kleinsorge.

I agree that Dr. is fantastic and attentive but the staff is quite the opposite. I have been waiting for the Rx to be filled for over two weeks and not a phone call advising of the delay. I called on a Saturday to get an update and was advised that nothing could be done until Monday. No call back received and when I called Wednesday, was told it would be ready Friday. Still no call on the Friday before Labor Day so here we go again. I guess that "Service is Everything" motto does not apply to this Business. Disappointed.

We just got back from Dr. Frank making my 7 year old daughter cry and telling me to shush when I tried to ask a question. We will not be returning. Although I must say the woman at the front desk who checks people in and answers the phones was absolutely wonderful. Very polite and pleasant and well spoken. Too bad she does not represent the doctor or his assistant, who also does not seem to know how to speak to children so that they will understand her.

Unprofessional and incompetent. I bought glasses for my children and within 2 days the lenses popped out of 1 son's pair. My other son's frames broke within 2 months. Also, I had to make 3 trips to this place because the worker failed to measure me properly for bifocals. Complete waste of time and money.

I've ALWAYS had positive experiences with Kleinsgorge. Starting from reception right through to the Dr, who will sit and explain things to me in a manner I can understand. They are human, if you have to wait, there's good reasons. I've never had that issue. The team there make things run smoothly and now they are under new management, Michelle, who is such a sweet kind person who is keeping things run smoothly.
Kleinsgorge is accommodating to try and make each patient know that they are cared about on a personal level. Any Drs. office has a little wait time this is normal, the Dr may be spending a small amount of time explaining a question to a patient like me. That's a good thing, right? It is in my "eyes", pun intended.
So thank you Kleinsgorge for your professionalism, kindness and extra care.

This place is ridiculous. I made an appointment 3 weeks ago for today. To get an eye exam and glasses because my glasses broke. I've been without glasses for a month and need them ASAP. My appointment was at 2pm today. I was on time, waited 40mins and asked how much longer it would take they said another 45mins. What is the point of making an appointment if you're going to take patients two hours after their appointment time? Seems like the people that work there could care less. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

although you are there for what feels like forever, please remember it's quality care there not quantity. He is very thorough, yes you are going to wait, but I have waited longer in the er, waiting room and even at regular doctors office. He answers your questions and if you don't understand he will break it down for you. Now there are new people in the front and that is frustrating, but remember you all were new at your jobs once, be patient.

Horrible. Crowded, disorganized; they called me a day prior to advise they had an opening at 2pm rather than my scheduled 3:30; sat still for 54 minutes and after hearing the receptionist explain to a guest who arrived BEFORE me that they'd still be waiting 20 minutes for a room and another 30 to see a doctor; I left. Avoid at all costs.

Meet the Doctor Dr. Frank Kleinsorge is a native of Pennsylvania, born and raised in Bethlehem, PA. He went to Freedom High School, Kutztown State University and New England College of Optometry in Boston. He has been in practice since 1991. A U.S. Veteran, he served for three years as an Officer in the U.S. Air Force during the Gulf War. His experience as an optometrist during his time in service has provided valuable experience particularly in emergency eye care. Currently he resides in Tannersville, PA (Poconos) with his wife, Arlene. He is very active in the community and church. They have five children and nine grandchildren. In addition to his busy practice, Dr. Kleinsorge is an sports and outdoor enthusiast.
