Lisa M. Cibik, MD, FACS

Dr. Cibik is unprofessional and her office staff is incompetent and rude. My elderly mother had an appointment scheduled to get a long-lasting stye on her eyelid checked out and drove 45 minutes to see the doctor only to be told that Dr. Cibik was only seeing cataract patients and refused to see her, despite her having an appointment. The office staff claimed they called, but the person who took the appointment wrote down the wrong number. Absolutely disgusting practice all around.

STAY AWAY!! - STILL WAITING FOR REVISED - CORRECT - MEDICAL RECORDS - been six weeks. They are also billing my healthcare provider as a Specialist - never meet the "Specialist" Dr. Cibik? The office personnel and office manager are extremely rude and unprofessional. Dr. Lisa M. Cibik, MD, FACS whom my appointment was scheduled with -- having researched and looked to her expertise when I scheduled the appointment -- made no attempt to show me the professional courtesy of introducing herself - let alone examine my eyes. Dr. Cibik was the Ophthalmology Specialist I was assured would be the doctor examining me only to be seen by several young techs and another doctor. I was at the OCLI Vision Eye Care Facility located in West Mifflin, PA. for three hours -------------------No Dr. Cibik in sight - a VERY unprofessionally run practice. When given my medical records so I can get proper treatment - they gave me false records listing Dr. Cibik as the Dr./Specialist. The office manager communicated they would correct the records and contact me when I can pick them up from the office. I have called multiple times and emailed - It's been over four weeks -- NO response - STILL WAITING to receive MY "ACCURATE" medical records from Dr. Cibik's Office / OCLI Vision Eye Care located in West Mifflin, PA.

Office staff were friendly, polite and attentive. Physicians were personable, attentive and took time explaining procedures, results and options. Dr Cibik provided a thorough exam and tests to determine treatment. Her concerned, thoughtful manner underscores my trust In her professional competence.

This was my first appointment. It was for cataract evaluation and surgery. A good bit eof testing was done. There was not a lot of wait time between tests, and everyone was friendly and thorough and made sure the images were good. The doctor was friendly and thorough as well. He explained what is needed in lay terms. I have my surgery scheduled and will be returning here for annual exams.

The office ladies are rude, inconsiderate and have no clue how to run the office. Dr. Cibik is fantastic and very thorough. I don't think she realizes how incompetent most of her staff is. The most simplistic tasks need explained multiple ways to them to the point it's ridiculous.

I would recommend anyone I know to go to AIO & DR.CIBIK. I've never had a more thorough experience, pleasant personnel, & informative optomologist appointment in my life! My cataracts surgery is in her hands & I have complete & total faith in her. Several people had already recommended her to me.

I had researched Dr.Cibik and found she was highly recommended. My appointment went smoothly..EVERYONE was professional and had a sense of humor..I joked a LOT...gotta keep a sense of humor. All my options were explained to me thoroughly. I'm actually looking forward to the surgery. Thanx to all!

I would not recommend this doctor or practice. She performed a routine cataract surgery for both of my father's eyes ($4,200 out of pocket, insurance does not cover). One eye was successful, the other eye is constantly irritated. Over the course of 8 months and about 12 visits, he has been going back to her for follow ups and one touch up, with no success. His eye is still constantly irritated and he has stopped receiving any useful guidance or support from the doctor. Upon a recent visit, before actually even seeing anyone, the front desk advised of additional charges for the visit (which were a surprise), to which my father declined to see the doctor and did not proceed with the visit because of the practice's failure to be upfront about this when scheduling the appointment (and due to frustration from his many prior visits that have not been helpful). The doctor/practice (according to their billing statement) still charged our insurance company as if a full visit, which seems to be fraudulent, sketchy at the very least. I would highly not recommend this practice.
