Thanks to Dr. Bucci, my vision went from around 20/700 to 20/15! I was extremely nearsighted and had worn glasses since the age of 8. More recently I had developed age related issues like cataracts and slower refocusing time when switching from looking at close up objects to objects farther away and vice versa. Now I see clearly without glasses, and even the refocusing issue was resolved! While the new lenses are impressive, I am even further amazed by the precision work of the second procedure to correct my astigmatism. I have to admit that I was nervous about having so much done to my eyes, but now, a full year after the procedures were started, I am thrilled with the results.
Dr. Bucci did my eyes about three years ago. I wore glasses from age 2 to age 66. When he was finished doing both eyes I woke up the next morning for the first time in my life and was able to read the clock. I was extremely far sighted it was able to start fires like a magnifying glass. I have so much faith in Dr. Bucci that my wife has gone for an evaluation for glaucoma and cataracts. I can't wait till he finishes her so she could finally see the TV clearly and read. God bless him and his family and his staff.
I had LASIK surgery at Bucci Laser Vision about nine months ago, and it was the best decision I ever made. My eyes were terrible - to the point that it was impossible to use contacts that were not a custom (and expensive!) prescription, and even glasses weren't achieving 20/20. Prescription wise, my eyes were -9 and -11. With how bad they were, there was no guarantee that I would ever get to 20/20 even with surgery, but Dr. Bucci seemed professionally confident that he could drastically improve my eyesight.
Immediately after surgery I could see better than I EVER have without glasses in my entire life. My eyes continued to improve over the next week, and within a month, I had perfect clarity that was almost overwhelming after how bad my eyes had been. I hadn't realized just how bad they were! I think my eyes have continued to improve over this past year, and I am at 20/20 in one eye and only slightly worse than 20/20 in the other.
One of my favorite post-LASIK perks is the complete elimination of night blindness. I was worried when I researched LASIK that one of the side effects was halos and glare, but with how bad my night vision was to begin with, I figured it couldn't get worse! I didn't notice a difference in the first few months, and then all of a sudden it was like someone flipped a switch - perfect clarity! I'm now more comfortable driving at night than ever before, which helps so much with work and recreation. This surgery has literally given me more hours in a day, and I can do so much more than I ever was able to before. Thanks to an Omega 3 supplement suggested by Dr. Bucci, I have had NO dry eye post-LASIK.
I would recommend Bucci Laser Vision to anyone considering LASIK or another eye procedure. Dr. Bucci is an expert, and no one has ever improved my day-to-day life so drastically!
Both my wife and I have been treated for cataract implants by Dr Bucci. This review sums up our experience with him and his staff. My eye-sight is/was terrible, besides the cataracts I have a very serious astigmatism in both eyes. Dr Bucci was careful to set expectations for me, and the results that I have meet or exceed those expectations. In my case I may still have to wear glasses but still considering my vision was around 20/400 and is now 20/50. I can perform most tasks around the house without the need for glasses. I am writing this review without reading glasses. There are a lot of Dr's available to you to perform this type of procedure and I suspect that nearly all of them will give most of us good results. What Dr Bucci offers besides a state of the art facility and professional staff. Is his own deep experience. He tells me that he has done over 20,000 of these procedures and I know that mine was one of the more difficult ones to correct for. Yet here I am. I had an easy recovery, I have an outcome that meets my expectations and I am correctable to nearly 20/20 vision.
My surgeries were on August 8th and August 20th.
Now for the CONS's be careful to ask direct questions regarding the cost of the procedures. I left the first meeting believing that Dr Bucci accepted whatever the insurance paid + the cost of the premium inplants. This turns out to have been a misunderstanding on my part, backed up by the fact that apparently in the raft of paperwork that I signed that day was a document committing me to pay the difference between what the Insurance company pays and what is billed. As of this writing I have no idea what that will be. So again I strongly recommend the services of Dr Bucci, but make sure you ask the right questions so you know what your costs will actually be.
Worst doctor ever. Go anywhere else!! I felt everything during the procedure and when I told them this said oh you won't remember this tomorrow. Well guess what I remember the torture and all the pain and everything they said about me. They said I had a low threshold for pain because I said the blood pressure cuff was hurting. Well I have bruises all over my arm from it. So Ha. I guess I have a really threshold considering I sat thru someone digging around in my eye and squeezing my arm so hard it caused massive bruising. AND MY VISION !! Well it's not foggy anymore so yay. but it is bad feels like something is in my eye constantly itching and burning. And still cannot drive at night. Worse then before the cataract was removed. DO NOT GO TO THIS MAN. HE WILL HURT YOU. You WILL regret it.
Had MultiLX surgery done in 2012....big mistake. I am left with constant double vision which makes it impossible to drive at night. Watching TV or going to a movie can be very uncomfortable since my eyes don't focus together. I'm left with wearing progressive lenses to work in and lenses for nearsightedness to drive with during the day. I went for a second opinion from another doctor and was told that if I try to have the lenses replaced I risk going blind.
Chemo brought on cataract. Had the surgery done on the left eye first then the right. When I had an issue and called after hours got to speak directly to Dr Bucci. He and his staff are very kind/caring. Very professional and they are all very friendly.
I am so impressed with Dr. Bucci. He told me the opposite from what my regular eye doctor has told me. I am switching to Dr.. Bucci for my eye health. I have been to so many eye doctors and I know I am at the right place now. Thanks to a lady I met in the park Sharon Rundell.
