Sam's Club Optical Center

Terrible experience with optical manager Bobbi Jo. Been a member since 2013 and never received such poor and unprofessional customer service. Bought $300+ glasses & contacts. When I picked up the glasses, Bobbi did not check if they fit properly. I had to initiate it myself and upon trying them on, I had a fishbowl distorted effect and blurry vision. When I asked if this was normal and if there was an adjustment period, she just shrugged, didn't offer any help, and stared at me blankly before telling me to go back to my doctor. A week later when I couldn't see anything up close or far - everything was blurry. I returned back to the club & asked Bobbi to check the glasses were measured and made correctly. She refused to check anything insisting everything was fine. When I asked if the glasses fit correctly, she mockingly said "I can see they're sitting on your face." Then when I tried to return the glasses and contacts at a later date, she refused saying both had to be returned at the same time despite her giving me 2 separate dates to return the products & my doctor still working on the prescriptions, so I couldn't return them both. Bobbi is extremely rude and hostile. Every time I go to the store, I am interrogated and she refuses to help. I was planning on exchanging and having the glasses remade, but I have complete lack of faith in this store's optical abilities after this much of a hassle. I just ended up refunding everything. Would not recommend coming back here due to the unprofessionalism of Bobbi Jo. She told me she wouldn't help me after Sep 21st and if I couldn't see with the glasses after they were remade, that was my issue, Even the general manager was appalled by her behavior and gave me the phone number to corporate. Waiting back on a response. Imagine spending hundreds and being told too bad if you can't see with them. The staff here act as if they're not being paid to check your glasses fit correctly

Just wanted to mention the outstanding professionalism and patience of Bobbi Jo Powell in the optical department at Sam's Club in Wilkes-Barre Township. She took the time to answer all questions I had and was also very kind too! I drive to that particular Sam's Club for her over the top service!!

Cheryl was very professional and made sure my new glasses were perfect in every way. I'm very happy with them. The price for the glasses was the most reasonable compared to other optical centers. Highly recommend.

They are fairly quick. Not always the most polite. My one friend with me was told she needed to figure out the options on her own rather than be assisted by those paid to do so.
