Me and my husband were way overdue for another eye exam.. And when my glasses broke again and we couldn't rig them back together for a third time, I knew that it was time for us to go back to the eye doctor and get new glasses ASAP!! Our previous eye doctor couldn't get us in until December.. So in dire need, I went on google and decided to go with Stanton Optical in Greer. I was able to get both me and my husband an appointment for an eye exam the very next day! We went to our appointment and had a 10/10 experience and also got all 4 pairs of glasses within a few hours after our appointment the very same day!!! (We both got 2 pairs of glasses) Carrie was very nice and helpful getting us checked in and ready for our appointments, explaining everything to us, from our insurance coverage to what to expect during our visit. I don't remember the lady's name that gave us our pre-tests and helped us during our exams, but she was very fast and great. Then came time to pick out our frames.. Henry was so wonderful, taking all the time with us to help us figure out what looked best on us and helping us find the perfect frames for our new prescriptions and he made checking out and paying for our glasses a breeze. We had such a great experience here today, that we have decided to use Stanton Optical in Greer for all of our future eye care and glasses needs!!!! 10/10 would highly recommend.

My experience at Stanton optical in Greer was absolutely the best! Everyone in there was very polite. The manager Laura assisted me picking out the frames and the other workers all helped out with giving me their opinionsI left there feeling like a million dollars!! I can't wait to see the world with my new glasses!!

My wife and I scheduled an exam a few weeks ago and planned to purchase new glasses and contacts. The staff at the Greer location were friendly, but the experience went downhill quickly. During checkout, the associate immediately pushed us toward buying a full year's worth of contacts plus new glasses for both of us-roughly a $2,000 purchase-without even asking what we wanted. Instead of asking how many boxes we planned to order, she positioned it as if the "maximum discount" package was the default. That alone felt presumptuous. After comparing prices online, we discovered we were being charged roughly 40% more than what other retailers offered. We ordered replacements elsewhere the same day for a fraction of the price. Canceling our order with Stanton required four separate phone calls, and each interaction left us feeling scolded and talked down to. Even when picking up our glasses, we were told-snarkily-that they "could've price matched." If that was important to them, they should have acted responsibly at the point of sale. It didn't stop there. My wife repeatedly explained that her glasses needed proper dimensions so they wouldn't slide down her face. That request was ignored. The pair she received is unwearable and the prescription seems worse than what she had before. To top it off, the brand of contacts recommended for her has been tearing constantly-another frustration added to the list. All in all, this experience was disappointing from start to finish. We'll be finding another provider in Greer, and based on our visit, I cannot recommend Stanton Optical.

I checked all the options in the area for an eye exam and glasses and Stanton Optical exceeded my expectations. They were friendly, knowledgeable and had state of the art equipment and wonderful staff in each department. Big kudos and thanks to Carrie and Dr Bowers for checking my eyes. And also to Laura my new eyeglass stylist. So happy I came here. Great prices too! Today I came to pick up one pair of my glasses. They are very nice for the price. The fitting and adjustment has left me wondering why the technician kept asking me about adjustments. He never checked to make sure they were on the bridge if my nose and not resting on my cheeks. Usually a tech will make certain that they fit properly using their expertise. I was in a rush so I will have to return for a proper fitting. I would love for Laura to assist as she was so caring and precise in helping me select my frames. We will get this sorted out. Thanks.

Called the number that is here on Google and on their site for the Greer location. Got a price over the phone that they said doesn't exist in store. I was originally told they were running a sale that provided me with a free exam if I got 3month's supply of contacts and I scheduled to "lock" that deal in like he said. He also gave the estimate for the single lenses and the frames my daughter wanted, and I asked for the prices because my mother-in-law wanted to pay for everything for her birthday. My husband took her to her eye exam today only to find that out way more money was needed and there was no package for a free exam with 3 month's supply of contact lenses. Why do you have a call center number starting with 864 area code on your page if it doesn't give me someone in the store? And then why do you not honor it when you know your call center does this? Had to change what we were getting her on the spot out of principle. We won't visit this place again. Now I know why I never wanted to visit this place before.

Even though the mistake was huge and frustrating, stanton, optical went above and beyond to fix it!!!!!!!! About 5 months ago I ordered 2 pairs of glasses, a new pair of prescription glasses and a pair of prescription sunglasses from Stanton optical. The normal glasses arrived when they would have been expected. But the sunglasses took about 4 months to get here after about 3 months, I called standing optical, and said, Hey, I paid for these, but But they haven't arrived. They checked and realized that the manufacturer, who was creating them and mounting. The lenses had said that the lenses had scratched multiple times while trying to get them into the frames. Eventually, the sunglasses arrived and stantonoptical called me to let me know. Hey These have arrived, and we're going to send them out to you, but we're going to refund this B 100%. So keep the sunglasses on us. We are sorry, this has taken so long. I looked at my bill this morning and realized that. Not only did they refund these sunglasses, but they also refunded the other pair of glasses. So they refunded both pairs of glasses because the customer experience had been number one out of their control and number two so poor. I would be remiss if I didn't get on and leave a review that stanton, optical, right?Even though it was not their fault, has gone above and beyond? To take care of me a customer, leaving me with two pairs of free glasses and an apology for a subcontractor of theirs having trouble mounting lenses. I will never go anywhere else for glasses again. Stanton, optical deserves 10 stars in a customer and service environment. Where frequently five stars is a stretch

I initially came in to leave with a pair of glasses. I was shown a couple different frames after my eye exam which was really nice. After checking out, I learned that I would not have my glasses for two weeks because of the premium blurred vision that I applied, which I wasn't too happy about. I was told I could come in the following day to not only get a refund but also walk out with two pair the same day, which I was extremely happy with. Everyone was polite and nice about the whole situation and it was highly appreciated.
