Orangeburg Eye Center

Jada at the front desk was very helpful and very friendly. The nurses in the back and the doctor were very professional very helpful. Dr. Rhodesexplained to me what was going on with my eyes and I am working to try to get them back on track. It was a very nice experience.

These people are trash, the glasses they made didn't even last a year. When I asked for my proscription they refused to give it violating HEPA laws to access to my medical records! SC needs to stop bleeding people and focus more on law and the requirements of the people they treat!

I go to orangeburg eye Center and I call them three times and I left three messages so they need to do better

Dr. Zhang has been my mom's Eye Dr for well over 20yrs.... He is always considerate and very knowledgeable as it pertains to my mom's eye care... Although he is an ophthalmologist- he has always given her advice on how to control her A1C and keep that sugar from reaching the eyes.... His nurse Stacey is the absolute best! She's always friendly and upbeat...

I have been struggling to see for years. Went to several eye Dr and nothing helped. Dr Zahn had worked a miracle in my mind and now I see perfect with glasses. He was even to save my lasik surgery and my reading eye is working perfect also with no glasses. He removed cataracts on both eyes. Why other Dr in Columbia couldn't see what was needed is beyond me. I have been a patient of the Eye Center for many years, therefore I have had the privilege of seeing different Drs. They all have different personalities which is ok with me, but I will not allow. any other eye center in Orbg touch my eyes. That's not being ugly about anyone else it's about honesty about the Orbg Eye Center.I have absolute trust and faith in the doctors, the Support staff and Techs as they are awesome. If you need a specialist they make the referral pronto. I have never had to wait for my appt and the one time I needed a refill of eye drops, I called into the on call # left a message and it was taken care. That night the Dr did not call me back and I knew that it was because the matter was taken care of. I hope people don't confuse bedside manner with skills. The two are not the same and sometimes our judgement is misplaced. May I remind everyone that normal eye care is once a year, unless you have something more serious - I have had both and I appreciate the excellent service I have always received. Dr McMullun blamed the people that made my glasses. I find him rude and more interested in doing surgery versus getting me a correct prescription.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The doctor my son seen today was passive aggressive along with the nurse. My son wasn't given a proper diagnosis. He seem racist!! He definitely treats his white patients differently from the black patients. The doctor greeted the white patients in a friendly manner, but didn't do the same for my son or myself.
