Bella Vision

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Bella Vision with Dr. Tanner. I have keratoconus and wear specialty scleral contact lenses, which has often made finding the right care very difficult. Most eye doctors I've seen in the past either couldn't help with my condition or weren't familiar with these lenses, and I usually had to travel far just to get proper treatment. Dr. Tanner and the team at Bella Vision were different--they were knowledgeable, attentive, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. This was honestly the best experience I've ever had at an eye doctor, and I left feeling confident and cared for. I highly recommend Bella Vision to anyone, especially those with more complex vision needs.

While I appreciate the service at Bellavision, I can no longer enjoy their services. If you are not wealthy, you might want to take note of the new building and all of the new equipment. They did not inform me prior to my appointment of what the cost of the appointment would be, although they claim that is their policy. My eye examination cost twice as much as it has in the past even though I paid over $200 the day of the appointment. I was then assessed another fee and of it took a very long time to get an explanation. Leaving messages with the business manager did nothing. So if you aren't ready to pay a lot of money, don't go to Bella vision I can't go anymore. I also couldn't purchase glasses at Bella vision because the cost of their lenses Has doubled

I have been a patient of Dr. Wilson's for many years. She has always taken excellent care of me. I particularly appreciate how she goes in depth explaining all aspects of my ocular health. As it had "been a minute" since my last visit, I was not the least bit surprised that my prescription had changed. Like an old car, this ol' gal needed and wanted an upgrade on frames. Olga, amazing optician, was very patient and accommodating. I can not highly recommend Bella Vision enough. Everyone there is nice and helpful. Y'all are THE BEST!!!

I had my first experience at Bella Vision today as an establishment exam and to update my prescription. The Receptionists were welcoming and very helpful with getting insurance information. Dr. Tanner and her team were very informative from upfront pricing of my exam, diagnostics, and contact fitting, discussing in detail all diagnostics performed, and setting me up with my new prescription. Efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Bella Vision to all friends and family.

I am very indecisive, but worked with Kim today and found the perfect eyeglasses. Her system for helping me choose was just what I needed. Thank you Kim! Also thanks to Olga who helped adjust my old glasses. I've purchased sunglasses and contacts from Bella Vision before and have always been satisfied.

Every interaction with Bella Vision and their team has been the definition of impeccable client service. About 10 years ago I suffered a binocular vision issue that caused much discomfort and impact to my quality of life. I was living in NY and prescribed prisim lenses to temporarily relieve symptoms and went through vision therapy, which completely resolved the issue. Fast forward to fall 2023, and the issue came back, worse than the first time. My ability to do even the simplest tasks like going grocery shopping, let alone things that I love like fly fishing or reading were a struggle and at times impossible. Living in WNC now, I researched looking for a new COVD fellow dr and found Bella Vision. I was able to speak with Vision Therapist Stephanie who listened empathetically to my situation, and was able to coordinate with Summer to get me an apt asap with Dr. Tanner for an exam and prism lenses to relieve symptoms until Dr. Wilson was able to see me the following month. Dr. Tanner was incredible and actively listened and asked great questions to ensure she was able to provide me with as much relief as possible. Olga then went above and beyond to help me find a wonderful set of frames that looked great, felt comfortable, and were within my budget. A few weeks later I was evaluated by Dr. Wilson for vision therapy who was also incredible. She took the time to actively listen as well, and also the time to explain to me what was going on with my vision and how she thought a new round of VT would help. I then started sessions with Vision Therapist Kristen. Day 1 she asked me my goals (and they were pretty lofty heehee!) She clearly communicated to me what to expect, and how hard I'd have to work to achieve them. I went through 20 session and did my assigned take home exercises regularly and achieved all my visual goals. Each week. Kristen intentionally planned our sessions to not only push me to be able to achieve my goals, but also for me to be able to replicate what she was teaching me during everyday life. She was also compassionate when my eyes and brain were tired and I needed it. A true partner in my healing journey. In addition to everyone named in this review, I encountered many other employees, and everyone was pleasant and professional. My entire experience has been wonderful and I can't recommend Bella Vision and their vision therapy services enough!
