I had laser eye surgery at IROC with Dr. Theo G. Seiler, and I'm genuinely thrilled with the result. From the very first consultation, everything was clear and well explained, and I never felt rushed or unsure. The whole process--from the pre-op checks to the procedure itself and the follow-ups--was smooth, professional, and reassuring. The clinic is modern and spotless, the staff are warm and highly competent, and Dr. Seiler's calm approach and surgical precision really stood out. I felt in great hands the entire time. Best of all, I can see perfectly without glasses now. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I had an appointment with Dr. Seiler to evaluate a topography-guided PRK procedure. I was very pleased with my visit. He was informative, very knowledgeable, and up-to-date on the latest clinical studies and trials. He answered all my questions and provided candid feedback. He is one of the world's top doctors in the field of cornea-related eye problems. His team was also extremely helpful; I 100% recommend them.

I came here about 4 months ago, i had a problem with my right eye. Originally I had lasik in 2012 in my country-Slovakia in the most pricey and the most advertised clinic N******A. They totally screwed up my vision with retreatments in 2018 and 2019... i had an epithelial cell ingrowth. I have seen 4 other doctors before i came to Zurich. No one could help me. But, after the TransPRK surgery with Prof. Theo Seiler my vision has improved from 20/40(50%) to almost 20/20(100%). Iam four months after surgery, so I hope that my vision is going to be stable for years. Prof. Seiler is very kind person. All his experience and scientific work is amazing! So if you have problems after refractive surgery like me- I had an irregular astigmatism, just go to Zurich. I am sure that this is the right place for correcting previous unsuccessful refractive surgery

I had a great experience here, with professional and friendly advice from start to finish. I came for advice about Intraocular lens implants (which I ultimately decided against), and was very happy with the experience. Also, I was pleasantly surprised at the price when the bill for the measurements and everything came through.

BEST DOCTORS worse admin/reception staff The ladies are a Master of Disaster. Very unfriendly and arrogant. The medical assistants at the clinic are excellent. Just the admin staff has some areas of improvement. Not only unpolite but even so arrogant that you are helpless even if you are a long year patient. They refuse passing messages to the doctors and insist you come in person. Well I am abroad (thousands of miles away) and can not manage to be there in person - had an emergency in a foreign country - the foreign doctor gave me a prescription and I was not sure if this aligned to my IROC treatment. This place has the most experienced doctors in Switzerland. The medical assistance and testing team are outstanding. The reason why I tolerate the incomptence of the admin team.

The very negative experience I had with Dr. Theo Seiler I can hardly put into words. Dr. Theo Seiler had really persuaded me and promised that everything would be very easy and that I am very lucky to meet such a good doctor like him. He kept telling me about his great inventions and his trips to the USA. He promised me he would correct my eyes to 0, plus minus 0.5 diopters. But the result after the laser surgery was a total disaster. My diopter before the laser was +2.5, after the laser operation nearsighted -5.5. He wanted to hide and cover up everything, he promised me again that he will correct that mistake. After 6 months he made another laser operation on me, after that I was at diopter completely farsighted +5.0. And since then, my diopter on the operated eye has constantly deteriorated, today I'm at +8 diopters, my cornea has been severely damaged by the operations. Bevore the laser operation my diopter was stable. After my first laser operation, it was almost impossible to make an appointment in the IROC practice, all my calls were constantly blocked, after the second laser operation I was completely blocked, also the reception staff kept changing constantly. I have never experienced so much arrogance and rudeness , especially after the result was so fatally bad for me. The negative experience with Dr. Seiler I can hardly put into words, I very much regret that I trusted him.

Lense replacement 2 years ago. They were still using an older IOL-Master 500 (Carl Zeiss Meditec, Germany), which didn't include advanced lense power formulas like Hill RBF or even Barrett Universal II (which I should have requested, my bad) As anticipated, they got the power calculation off by +1 / -0.75 diopter, a suboptimal result by current means and standards. LASIK enhancement in both eyes was free of charge, but here again, off by 0.50 diopter in one eye. Second enhancement was again free of charge, and achieved good results. If you go for an IOL operation, please make a special request for the latest IOL-Master 700 and the most advanced power calculation formula (Hill RBF, Barrett Universal II, Haigis, Hoffer-Q) in order to avoid unnecessary subsequent enhancements (which may results in dry eyes issues). With Hill Radial Basis Function, the typical target is within +/- 0.25 diopter. Added: IROC informed me by email they acquire a newer IOL-Master 700 a few months ago. This is good.

Had a visit for keratoconus, stayed 2h, did all their machines (5-6 tests total) for an awfully expensive bill (450chf). Finally just 1 result was used by optician, and measurements were wrong so I had to do 2 sessions with optician to correct wrong measurements and finally have a correction that works for me. For them you are just a customer, not a patient. Do no go there
