Dr. Bunning so far has been nice, and easy to talk to. He also seems to be very knowledgeable about my rare eye disease, unlike other doctors I've seen. He also gave me free samples so that I didn't have to pay for a prescription. His office worked me in the same day I called, and they worked with me on the bill by allowing me to pay later when I'm able to. Other places like the regional eye center have refused to see me without payment in full upfront.

My medical doctor called in to schedule me an appointment. Dr. Bunning's office asked if I could be there later that day at 3 pm and I said okay. I got there 10 minutes early (as requested since I was a first time patient) on the sign-in sheet I noticed 2 others scheduled at 3 pm for the same doctor and a couple for 3:10. As I'm waiting I hear people talking about the wait and how they're overbooked. I just don't understand why they would have scheduled my appointment knowing they were already booked up. I waited from 3 to 4:45 to get to a room. From there I was free to go at 5. He did give me a free sample of one medicine I needed. I would have rather not been there 2 hours though.

Great doctor and staff... BUT their after hour emergency service is rude and disrespectful. Was told by Dr. Bunning to call if there was a problem after procedure. Turns out I was allergic to an ingredient in the post op drops. Called after hours because pharmacist could not fill because of allergy. Was told on first call medications have to wait for office to be open. This was Friday evening explained Dr bunning wanted these drops daily. Finally got them to take message. Said I would get call back. 35 mins later I call back. They didn't send message because it was medication related. Omg. It's a post procedure medicine. Said he would resend. 30 more minutes no call back. Pharmacy is about to close in 10 mins so I call back one final time. No call back.

When I needed an eye dr, I went on Facebook. Immediately, I got lots of recommendations for Dr Bunning. I'm so glad I took their advice. He is so knowledgeable and has a great personality. He's done a couple surgeries already and I have more scheduled. I highly recommend him...he's the best!

Best eye care I have ever received. Dr. Bunning is one of the best around!
