Im not one to leave reviews unless I really like somewhere and our experience with Sunset Eye Care was just incredible! They was very kid friendly, and made us feel like we had always known them. Every single employee there was the nicest, most caring people! If your looking for an eye doctor that treats you so good, then look no further! This place is amazing!

This place is awesome! You can tell everyone likes working there. They are honest, good people. Dr. Patteson is thorough and never rushes you out! Highly recommend

Everyone treats you like you would expect from a provider. You always feel like every avenue is addressed. The exams are effortless and love the alternative to dilation to the eyes. James in the glasses, frames dept gives you honest advice and the most cost effective approach. I can't say enough!

Not received my new glasses, yet. However, the office visit went fairly smooth. Staff and Dr. were friendly. Worked me in quick after a health emergency. Also, took good care of other family members. I can't speak of my new glasses/lenses, but they went above and beyond to make sure others in my family received good care and glasses. Looking forward to my new glasses :)

I had a great experience with everyone here! I hadn't been to the eye doctor in years due to a bad experience with a franchised eye clinic. I completely recommend coming here. Support local! Every person I met at Sunset was so kind and fun, and Dr Patteson answered all of my questions and was so patient with me. She's got an amazing team and a great thing going here, I wish all of you many more years of successful practice and I'll see you soon.

I had an excellent experience with Sunset Eye Care. The staff were very friendly and highly professional. They have top line diagnostic and examination equipment. Dr. Harr is excellent. She upgraded my contact lens prescription and my vision is better than it has been in years. Highly recommend Sunset Eye Care.

This eye care clinic was, hands down, one of the best I've been to. You can tell that everyone who works here loves their job and they really take the time to address concerns and needs. The eye exam was very thorough and they were so patient and kind with my children who tagged along as well. Highly recommend!!!

I'm writing to you to voice a concern and disappointment in care that I have recently received from your clinic. On December 22, 2025 I visited your clinic due to the nose piece on my glasses having broken over the weekend. Upon arriving, the front desk personnel directed me to go on back to see James. It was very apparent once I got back to him, that he was distracted with computer issues. As I sat down, I asked if he could put my lens from the glasses with the broken nose piece into another pair of frames that I had brought with me, originally purchased from your office. He agreed and took the glasses back to be worked on, being gone roughly 15 minutes. Upon returning, I put on the glasses and quickly realized something was not right as I couldn't see through the lens. Four more attempts later and he never got the glasses correct for me. The lens appeared to be completely mixed up each time he brought them out, he was visibly frustrated and upset to the point that he dropped the F bomb in front of me, not that it bothered me however that is very unprofessional. He made me feel like I was a complete burden, in his way and that he didn't have time to fix my glasses. I left utterly disappointed and unable to see! I proceeded to Lenscrafters where I was able to purchase some new glasses. Because of the incompetence of James' work, that trip cost me $759.26. And then on to JC Eye Clinic where they went above and beyond, fixing my glasses 100% the first time, and I am not even a patient there. There was NO excuse for James to have been so incompetent when I visited! Also, this hasn't been my only issue with your clinic. I have always been made to feel unheard, when each time I'd purchase new glasses with you, and receive, and I would still have issues with my vision. It was an ongoing issue. And the biggest concern, is you completely missed a very important diagnosis on me, TWICE, as I have since been diagnosed with a Macular Pucker. I find your office lacking, inconsiderate and incompetent, and I'm disgusted that I have wasted my time and money there.
