I've gone three times to this location and been disappointed twice. First, I got glasses and contacts. The prescription on my glasses was way off. I was told it was because I wasn't used to wearing glasses often, to try them for awhile and then come back. Didn't want to deal with it and kept using glasses that'd been prescribed 20 years ago--apparently, my face is used to that frame because I can see out of them just fine. Second visit was for contacts. Everything went fine. This last visit, I told them my concerns about getting glasses but went for it anyway. While paying, a woman came in to get her glasses. She said she couldn't see. She was told they had a wider frame than she's used to and to test them for a bit. After that conversation, I made sure that I can return my glasses if they don't work. I don't know if I can see out of them, because here we are, almost a month later and they still aren't at the shop. Moral of the story: go for contacts, DO NOT go for glasses.
Robin, Sonya and Mariela were awesome They provided top notch service. Made me feel like a valued customer. Great customer service with personality that goes beyond the normal expectations. 10 to them. I will be back if they are there in the near future.
Thank you to everyone from making the appointment to picking out glasses. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. My mother, myself, and my son came in to get glasses today and we received high quality service from everyone. My mom and I are excited about the pair Eyewear we picked and our son got 2 pairs of glasses and an exam for 150.00 Thank you to Miss Robin J for helping us all get set up. We look forward to picking up our glasses in 2 week.
Everyone was great except for the receptionist, I think her name Jasmine. She was very unprofessional as she did her makeup the entire time I was there. She caught attitude with other employees in front of me. To top it all off, she said something snide about the glasses I chose. I was really unhappy with how she acted, but besides that, my service was amazing.
Just needed new nose pieces on my oakleys and they fixed them for free!!! So grateful my nose no longer getting chewed up by metal

An outstanding experience from start to finish! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and noticed the professionalism from every single staff member. Special thanks to Sonia, who was persistent and went above and beyond to help me. A positive atmosphere and excellent customer service make me highly recommend this branch.
It was my first time getting glasses and Mariela at the Knoxville location was very helpful and gave me great tips for first timers.
This location is HORRIBLY run. The first time I went, about 4 months ago, I came in for an eye exam, glasses, and contacts. The optometrist was rude--sighing, rolling his eyes, and acting like I was a burden just for telling him which lens was clearer. After the exam, I ordered a six-month supply of contacts, like I do every time. Three weeks later, I picked up my glasses and contacts. The glasses instantly gave me nausea and dizziness that never went away. My $300+ glasses were completely unusable because either the optometrist, the staff, or the manufacturer messed up. Since then, I've had to rely solely on contacts.
Fast forward: two weeks ago I realized I was almost out of contacts even though it had only been four months. I checked my purchase history and saw the employee had entered the wrong amount of boxes. I was panicked and had to skip class to run around town to find contacts ASAP. I called to see if my prescription could be emailed to me. They said they couldn't because they don't have encrypted email, only fax. So, to save time, I made the mistake of reordering with them. After being on hold for nearly an hour, I finally spoke with someone from the contacts department, and WOW. I don't think I've ever talked to someone more incompetent in my life. I asked for a six-month supply (four boxes) of contacts. He kept getting the number of boxes wrong. I kept correcting him. Long story short, I only received three boxes. And when I asked for sample contacts to hold me over, they refused. So I asked the front desk to fax my prescription to Visionworks. I went there the next day, and of course, no fax was ever sent. I eventually had to call the other America's Best location to get it handled.
Long story short -- Do NOT come to this location. The staff is incompetent and rude. I strongly encourage you to go anywhere else. The America's Best location off of clinton highway is way better if you'd like to stick with this company.
