Dr. Christa Cole

I first met Dr. Cole at the University Eye Specialists Maryville office, I believe it was 4 years ago. My understanding was that she was new to the practice (not to Optometry) and she was recommended to me by one of her co-workers whom I knew personally. Since then, Dr. Cole has changed locations within the same practice and does her thing at the Hardin Valley Office. Today was my 4th appointment with Dr. Cole and I must say, she is very personable, professional and her examination instills great confidence in her knowledge, judgement and skill as a top notch diagnostician and practitioner. If you're looking for an examination with refraction and 3 pair of glasses and a shoeshine, this is not the place. If, however, you want a very nice lady who will take the time necessary to answer questions you may have and follow the progression of your eyes as you age, or in my case, as you recklessly abuse your vision, Dr. Christa Cole is the one I lucked into and 4 years later, can't say enough good things about.

Dr. Cole is the best! She always takes time to listen to any concerns and explains all aspects of my eye exam in detail. She is very knowledgeable and caring, and a credit to University Eye Specialists.

5 stars for Dr Cole. ZERO stars for University Eye. They told me Dr Cole is leaving the practice, but will absolutely not say where she's going or how to contact her. So, if anyone knows where to schedule an appointment with her, please let us all know.

Crista Cole is terrific! She is smart , knowledgeable, and personable. I learn so much about how to keep my eyes healthy at every visit. I live in Georgia and travel to Knoxville every 6 months.

Dr. Cole is very patient, understanding and knowledgeable. She has helped me with scleral lenses which are very difficult to fit and size. Highly recommend her and University Eye Specialists!
