Dr. Carter and her staff were wonderful! We have family history of eye disease and she was gracious in answering all my questions. We also enjoyed our experience with Mr. Ken who helped my son pick out his first set of glasses. I highly recommend this practice for your kiddos!

Dr. Susan is absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in, she and her staff were warm, welcoming, and made my 3-year-old feel completely comfortable. Dr. Susan was extremely thorough with her exam and is phenomenal with children--she's a mom herself, and it shows. My daughter laughed and played throughout the visit because Dr. Susan made the experience fun for her while maintaining complete professionalism. On the way out, my daughter said, "I had fun at the eye doctor, Mommy!" What truly stood out was how Dr. Susan went above and beyond to help me advocate for my child. She saw exactly what I had been concerned about, which was such a relief after being brushed off by other doctors. Her kindness, dedication, and professionalism have been a huge blessing in this challenging situation. I am so thankful we chose her office and couldn't recommend her enough!

Our family is so grateful for Eyes on Northshore. Dr. Susan is an extremely knowledgeable optometrist who specializes in vision therapy, and she has a special gift for making children feel comfortable and relaxed. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough!

Like another reviewer, I wasn't able to even make an appointment. **I verified that an EXAM with the two doctors at this practice would be covered by my insurance prior to calling. My insurance confirmed that an exam would be covered** The receptionist who picked up the phone asked me about my insurance. I told her I have vision insurance through my medical insurance and she told me that was wrong and it would be contracted out to a vision company so I needed to figure out who that was. I'm not dumb, I know what I signed up for when I got my insurance so I proceeded to politely tell her that my vision is through my medical, I verified that this office would be covered by my insurance, and I have a vision insurance card that I would be happy to tell her the number of. She said "that isn't an insurance I've ever heard of us taking" and told me that I'd have to pay for it out of pocket. She said they aren't in network with most insurance companies and asked me if I wanted to make an appointment. She never actually verified that my insurance wasn't accepted. She just said she'd never heard of it. I didn't make an appointment. I could've been adamant and argued that it was covered but I figured that a place that wanted my business wouldn't have told me that I was wrong without even attempting to check. I made an appointment with a different office that has "heard of my insurance"

Wonderful experience I took my 2.5 year old to have an eye exam. She is special needs so it is difficult to keep up with her at times while also filling out paperwork. I was getting a little overwhelmed because my daughter kept trying to run to different rooms and was even trying to run out of the front door into the parking lot. The kind ladies at the front offered for me to wait in another area where my daughter could play with balls and other toys, even a dry erase board! Dr. Susan was absolutely wonderful as well. She is very kind and worked with my daughter beautifully. This was such a wholesome experience, honestly. Everyone was so kind and accommodating. If I could give more stars, I would.

Everyone at EON is absolutely fabulous with my daughter. She's been going there for years. They take their time with her and get down in the floor to play with her. They make her feel so comfortable and she actually loves to come here for her appointments. I highly recommend them especially for children.

I drove 45 minutes to get a contact exam with Dr. Puckett. She has always been able to get my contacts perfect. My son sees Dr. Carter. He had a previous issue with his eyes and I wanted to have them rechecked. She is so knowledgeable and I felt very confident in her recommendations. The new optical department has so many cute fashionable glasses. You can't go wrong getting an exam with either one of these doctors.
