Dr. Louthan has been a good friend I've met while working with the TN Baptist convention in 2003. Since my moving to Knoxville in 2011 Dr. Louthan or Dr. Badger have been my primary ophthalmologists and it has been a pleasure being treated by them and their staff. They are very kind, gentle, polite, professional, and friendly. The staff has also been absolutely cordial and receptive. I have nothing but gratitude towards these amazing people and the work they do.

I have been going to Halls Vision Clinic for a few years and never been happier with the staff and Dr. Louthan and recomended him to my friends and they were happy with them.

BEST EYE CLINIC! I've been going there for about 5 years now and they have always been amazing. I just recently went and had to bring my two young kids with me. They made me feel so comfortable taking my kids to my eye appointment. Every staff member took time to speak kindly to my kids and didn't make me feel bad for bringing them with me. Dr. Badger is amazing! She has never rushed through my appointments and makes me feel truly cared for. I love everyone there and recommend this place over and over again!!

I do not recommend this place to anyone. I have been going here since I was in middle school, I am so angry with how the doctor treated me. I had a super bad severe pink eye in both eyes. I came to see Dr. Reach he told me I'd have to ride it out and if he sent me to an ophthalmologist they would say the same thing. Well that same day I called Campbell, Cunningham & Taylor they got me in the next day. The doctor told me that Dr reach had gave me the wrong eye drops and that was making it worse then good. Got put on eye drops to put in my eyes every hour. The next day I had to see the retina specialist he said this was very severe and he had to take out scar tissue to begin the healing process gave me eye ointment for my eyes to apply 6 times a day, that same day my eyes were approving tremendously. If it wasn't for my instincts to go get a second opinion I may of lost some vison in both eyes. Do not go here and do not let a doctor tell you that "you need to ride it out". Eyes are nothing to be messed with.

My mother shared her experience with me and I felt compelled to post it. She needs an annual eye exam because she has an auto immune disease. She is a kind, beautifully composed, true representative of a southern lady who is paying for these services. The dental hygienist did all of her work and did it well. The "man with the title" required by insurance companies to pay the bills, came in, checked and approved the work, then proceeded to berate her about the time a medical appointment took as opposed to a eye check. It made her feel like she was inconveniencing him for "Taking the time three appointments took?" Literally, his words. Proceeding her appointment, there was a lady there, well before her, she only needed her new lenses put in her existing glasses. She had not been seen when my mom left. She commented on her hour plus wait time. I would have loved to have been there to ask the eye doctor that is supposedly running the show... did your employees not schedule this appointment? Should they not have blocked off the time you are getting paid for? Do you not have another assistant to put some lenses in an existing frame? If you have short staffed yourself perhaps you should not leave it to this guy to provide your customer service. I feel sorry for the staff that is required to work with him. Maybe you are short staffed because he is not nice to your paying customers or your staff. I would certainly look into it.

I went to see Dr. Badger as a new patient yesterday. What a gem! They valued my time and brought me back at my appointment time. I appreciate that she is kind and explains procedures and costs. If you are looking for a new eye doctor give them a try. Highly Recommend. My husband had an eye exam completed by Dr.Badger. She was friendly, professional and thorough. He ordered new bifocals at a very affordable price point. Very happy with his experience. A+

Dr. Louthan is hands down, the best eye doctor around. He clearly cares for his patients and takes his time with each one of them. I have never felt rushed and each year I go I know I will receive a thorough eye exam. I can't say enough about how great my care has been with Halls Vision Clinic. Highly recommend!

The folks at Halls vision clinic are by far some of the most caring people I've been blessed to know. They've always went above and beyond for my family and I over the years. They're trustworthy and genuinely care about their patients. I'm so thankful for each of them. They deserve 100 stars in my book.
