The his place is a joke tried 2 different times to have my daughter go here and they messed up both times. Sadly this is the only childrens eye doctor in Knoxville what a disgrace.

Very unnecessary wait times, especially for special needs toddlers. Wait 20 minutes to be seen, my child had to be held down for dilation, then we have to wait another 45 minutes in the lobby after the eye drops before we can see the doctor. I felt like the staff were kind and did well with my child, but the overall experience of driving over an hour to be there, having to navigate through UT campus, kill yourself to find parking, and basically spend 2 hours in a waiting room.. was not a great experience.

I highly recommend this pediatric ophthalmologist. My son had a scratch on his eye and Dr. Schmitt was exceptional in addressing my concerns and providing quality care. All of the staff was very impressive in their handling of special needs children. I definitely recommend them!

The office staff and all medical personnel plus Dr. M were absolutely the best. Everyone was so kind, patient, and thorough. This office is not too hard to access from the nearby parking garage and there are clean restrooms across from their office. Thank you for doing such a great job!

Absolutely wonderful with kids!! Instead of asking me questions, they asked my son(6yrs). I love the fact they asked him and made him feel like he was in charge. They made my son feel comfortable and made him laugh during his exam! Thank you Dr. Wadley and staff for taking care of my son! I highly recommend!!
