LensCrafters - West Town Mall, Knoxville One star. This place is a spreadsheet with eyeglass frames taped to it. The frame I tried, a Brooks Brothers BB2033, rang up at 182 dollars. That is garden-variety mall tax. The real insult came when they moved to lenses and turned the screen toward me like they were doing me a favor! They tried to sell me their "PG AVP Fea Classic Blue IQ" progressive lenses for 610$ dollars before any discounts. That lens is a house brand polycarbonate product, not some exotic high-index miracle! Complete joke. Other places sell better material for a fraction of that price. Here they crank the fake "retail" number to the ceiling, then pretend the discount is a gift - not a con. On their own tablet, two totals sat side by side. One with a store promotion, one with my vision plan applied. The difference between the two was about a dollar. In the wrong direction. Their system literally showed that using my plan made the bill higher. The staff kept talking about "savings" while the numbers on the screen quietly contradicted every word.l! On top of the pricing games, the quote did not even match what we discussed. The rep entered the grey version of the Brooks Brothers frame instead of the black look we had talked about. Wrong color, wrong focus, zero attention. The only thing that came through clearly was the push to close a 478 dollar sale for mid-tier 80s "tech" plastic. Use this store for one purpose only: try frames on, grab the model numbers, and walk out. Buy the frame online for a sane price and get real lenses at Costco or a competent local optician. I left without glasses and with a very clear reminder that this location values markup and sales scripts far more than honesty or eyesight. AVOID.

First time with progressive lens. Megan was so helpful explaining everything and helping me pick and fit my glasses. When I came back in for fitting on my sunglasses, Julie was so patient as we got the nose pieces to line up exactly like I wanted. It was at least 30 minutes of back and forth and she was friendly and accommodating the whole time (even when I didn't know exactly how I needed them to fit). Very happy with the personal customer service here at West Towne in Knoxville.

I always have such a great experience here. I have been coming for years! This visit I only needed some new sunglasses and was promptly helped by the branch manager, Megan. I've met her several times and she is always such a delight!! The entire staff is so kind and always helpful.

Lens Crafters in West Town Mall is the best place for your eyerwear needs anywhere in our area! Where else can you find reasonably priced glasses and a Happiness Guarantee where you can return or exchange your glasses within 30 days if they just aren't what you wanted? No where, that's where! This alone is reason enough to go here. When you actually come in and meet the staff, you'll never need or want to go anywhere else. Our whole family has been coming here for years. We actually followed Megan, the manager here from the Turkey Creek store. Megan is one of the kindest and most caring people you will ever meet. The fact that she loves the work she does is evident in the time and care she takes with every single client that comes in. She takes the time to help you personally pick out glasses and will help you find what works for you. No matter your budget, everyone here wants the best for you and they truly make every effort possible to make sure you have a positive experience. The entire staff here is so friendly and helpful! You will never leave this store unhappy and if something happens after you leave the store, they will go above and beyond to make it right.

Most stores specialize in certain things associated with their business, but this place is different. Top notch, from top to bottom, in all aspects. You are kindly greeted the moment you walk in, and feel that same care the whole time you are there. Questions and concerns about products are answered thoroughly and in a way that make you feel comfortable about your decisions afterward. You really can't ask for better. I've always dealt with Megan (#1 in my book), but the entire staff has always assisted at some point and provided A+ support. The point is, why go anywhere else..
