Volunteer Eyecare (South Knox)

I had an amazing experience here ! I recently got insurance through my work and was scared to pay extra fees and for over priced frames, but this place had none of that! It was super reasonable price wise even with insurance and the ladies at the front are very patient and explain everything without passing judgement. They don't try to push anything unnecessary on you, and seem happy to help. The eye exam was also stellar, the doctor had me in and out quickly. The glasses I picked out came in a goody bag with a glasses case, cleaner, a microfiber cloth, and a pamphlet on eyewear care. The women up front also did many adjustments so the glasses sat on my face correctly and not crooked and were diligently doing so! I've been to other places and they don't even ask for you to put the glasses on for adjustments let alone give you a goody bag!! I will be going here forever and ordering my contacts and glasses only from here !

Love the staff there! Hannah has been incredibly helpful with helping me find a cute pair of glasses for my 3-year old daughter. I accidently purchased a pair that is too large and they have been wonderful with ordering a few other samples for me to get an idea of fit, shape and look before purchasing another pair. It is "real fun" taking a 3-year old in a eyeglass store and the little tornado is pulling everything off of the shelves. Hannah simply smiled, understood and was so kind about it. Thank you!

I love this place! I am always made to feel welcome and everyone is so kind. The appointments are quick and easy with plenty of care given. I walk out feeling assured that I have been given the best care. The office staff is seriously so sweet. I have been to several different eye doctors who I felt didn't care or were extremely rude, but my experience has been so positive here. I will continue to go here for as long as I live in knox!

I've always used them for my Daughter Liza's eye care and they are fabulous and great with her eye care. Now I'm using them also and I love the way they treated me. The eye Doctor was great and explained everything to me and the ladies at the front desk are the nicest and they treat you very well and help you with anything you need help with. Thanks to all of you at Volunteer Eye care in the Chapman Highway office and I highly recommend you all to anyone.

Outstanding experience from the moment I walked in the door till I was checked out! Every staff member was welcoming and professional. Dr. Cathey listened to all my concerns and was very thorough in his exam. He took his time explaining everything which made me feel at ease. Would highly recommend coming to this office for the best eye experience!

I had a great experience here! I went here because my old eye doctor quit, and I couldn't be happier. Everyone was friendly and I was in and out. They are conveniently located as well. The eye doctor also helped to reassure me of something I was told to be an issue in the past, but it seems that my old eye doctor was brushing over it quickly and was giving me incorrect information. I have found my eye care place from here on out!

Absolutely fantastic. Went for the first time. Easy scheduling, no long waits. Had a great variety of glasses to choose from. Was very patient with me while I tried every pair on. Glasses came sooner than they said. Great customer service all around. I'll definitely keep coming here forever.

Both my husband and I use Volunteer Eyecare on Chapman Highway. The staff is always knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. We've both gotten glasses (new lenses and frames) within the last year and they are so helpful walking through all the options and explaining what each option can do. I also regularly wear contacts and they helped me find contacts that felt good and fit well. Not only do I know they have the health of my eyes as a top priority, they treat you like a person and truly care. I would very much recommend Volunteer Eyecare!
