Everything was great, as we've come to expect, EXCEPT, when I mentioned that we lived in Knoxville and wished to order my new glasses at the Weisgarber office, they FORGOT to tell me that the Weisgarber office no longer handles Medicare lenses and frames. Rather than make another 1 hr trip to Maryville, we ordered my new glasses at Karns Vision Center!

Having poor eyesight since childhood, going to a new practice with new providers is always traumatic. I never know how a provider will react to my ophthalmic condition given the severity of it. Dr. McMillan and staff provided a high standard of care and I believe we have begun a good partnership to work towards maintaining as much sight as possible going forward.

I received no less than 5 reminders for my appointment including one that said I would be charged if I was more than 15 minutes late. I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment and was obliged to wait 40 minutes (30 minutes after my scheduled appointment). After the in take interview (which could have been completed online in advance) I waited an additional 10 to 15 minutes for equipment to become available. This level of waiting is unacceptable. I don't understand how you can be 30 to 40 minutes behind at 9:30 in the morning. Improvement is needed.
