If you need an ophthalmologist let me recommend Duncan Eye , PLLC. Dr. Emily Taylor Graves was my doctor. I had cataracts removed from both eyes. Dr Graves and her staff were amazingly awesome! I was treated as if I was loved and cared about. They could not have been more kind, courteous, and caring. My surgery was at the Memphis Surgery Center. The staff there was just as awesome. I will give them a five-star review when I finish here. I will forever be grateful to Duncan Eye, PLLC, and the Memphis Surgery Center for the love shown while I was in their care. I was referred to this clinic for cataract surgery and saw Dr Graves. I have suffered from astigmatism in both eyes my whole life therefore I thought while I'm already going to be in surgery I may as well inquire about corrective lens implants. Dr Graves told me that she could fix my vision problem and my astigmatism with the lenses. She never said she may be able to fix my vision issues she said she COULD fix my eyes. I never thought to ask "what if it doesn't work?" I felt so certain there was no question about whether it would work or not. So, needless to say, I went through with the surgery and of course had to pay out of pocket for the entire surgery because I didn't have any insurance that would cover either procedure. So, after paying all that money I still can't see. After my surgery when I went back for the post op appointment the assistant examined my vision and it wasn't any better than before the surgery Dr Graves never even came in the room to see me. I thought that maybe it gets better with time so I waited several months and no improvement I called to make an appointment to see Dr Graves and was told that would be an additional $150. I paid the fee and went to see her and she had no answers or no idea what to do to help me. She was all nice and friendly at my first visits but not so much when her surgery wasn't successful. I would give anything if I had not gone there. It was a pure waste of money. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone.

Brilliant--At our first visit, Dr. Duncan looked at my health records and drew a logical, correct conclusion that had escaped my doctors for over 20 years. Skilled--Within 5 days after my second cataract surgery, both eyes had better than 20/20 vision. Witty--Dr. Duncan's dry humor and easy repartee make our appointments a pleasure. Her upbeat assistant, Rebecca O'Connell, is knowledgeable and thorough. Always encouraging and welcoming, Rebecca makes me feel well cared for. I would highly recommend Duncan Eyecare to anyone and everyone. I had an abrasion on my cornea that was causing much pain and blurred vision. I had visited another doctor about this the day before, with little confidence in their care because the pain worsened through the day and when I called to tell them this they just told me to keep my eye closed and come back the next morning, saying it should be 70% better by then. I was unable to sleep the whole night and returned bright and early the next morning but was then referred to Duncan Eyecare. After going to Dr. Duncan, she treated my corneal abrasion and explained the whole process to me and made me feel much better about what was taking place. I am clearly now on the mend. I was seen the day I called and treated with much respect by Dr. Duncan and her staff. I truly felt like they cared about me which was more than I could say about the other doctor and staff. Also, I had no insurance and I was afraid of the cost to see an eye specialist but the doctor and staff made me feel that there were no worries, just worry about healing which was a great feeling. I wish I would have gone here in the first place!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart! 10 out of 10! Great service and professional staff. Dr. Duncan you are the best!

Duncan Eye called me exactly 1 hour prior to my cataract evaluation appointment asking to reschedule after awaiting over a month due to "insurance issues." They were not willing to see me without my insurance card being present, so I offered to pay out of pocket. Upon arrival, the front desk girl insisted on rescheduling "per Dr. Graves" without a valid reason. I strongly believe it was a discrimination thing. There seemed to be something else going on that was not truthfully said. Luckily, another cataract center openly took me in within a week and I already have an appointment scheduled for cataract surgery this month. They say everything happens for a reason.. I now clearly believe in it. I've heard great things of Dr. Graves, but I will sadly never recommend anymore patients to this place. Poor staff. Poor doctor manner.

Dr. Duncan and her staff are truly outstanding!...Over the past few years, I've been seeing Dr. Duncan for the treatment of an eye condition and she has kept it under control with great results... Recently I had her perform cataract surgery on both eyes... Her surgical skills for delicate eye surgery are second to none, I would only trust her to treat or operate on my eyes and would gladly drive 100 miles or more just to have her as my personal Ophthalmologist,,, Dr. Duncan is very knowledgeable, well trained, highly skilled and experienced eye doctor,,, I would strongly recommend her and her staff services, without hesitancy to anyone needing professional eye care. I had an excellent experience at Duncan Eye with Dr. Graves. I had a chalazion that required removal and she was beyond comforting and accommodating. She performed the procedure quickly but carefully and was so kind throughout the entire process. I can't thank the team at Duncan Eye enough, I will definitely use them in the future!

Dr. Duncan worked me in as a new patient for an acute eye issue! Staff was so friendly, and Dr. Duncan was awesome. Best of all, my eye is already feeling better. 100% recommend!
