Best place to go for an exam! Melissa was very friendly and knowledgeable! The store is very clean and well put together. Doctor McIntosh was also very thorough and got the exam done in a timely manner. Will definitely be going back!

I've been seeing Dr McIntosh for 10+ years and she's the best eye doctor I've ever seen and just a lovely person. The real star of this place though is Melissa. She is an absolute delight and is INCREDIBLY helpful. She's great at helping you pick out a frame that looks fab on you and also does everything in her power to get you the best deal. She spends time pricing it all the different ways possible to see what works best. She's informative, kind, and a pleasure to have a conversation with. I couldn't recommend this place more! 5+ stars!

I've been going to this office for several years. Dr. M is friendly and thorough. Melissa is super helpful and great at helping you pick frames you feel good in. My glasses always seem to arrive faster than expected. Overall, highly recommend!

This JCPenney Optical is fantastic! Dr. McIntosh is a great doctor and does a very thorough eye exam. The entire team at this store does a wonderful job of working together to make the patient feel valued and important. Melissa takes as much time as you need to help in picking out frames, explaining your insurance benefits and looking for the best cost possible. They are friendly and make it not such a chore to get an eye exam!

Melissa at JCPenney Optical and Dr. Macintosh are superb at their jobs--Dr. Macintosh has over 27 years experience and had done my exam 7 years prior to my experience today. They fit me into their busy schedule and were able to get me glasses to replace the ones I broke FASTER than anyone in town (believe me, I called around for an hour). PLUS, Melissa diligently figured out what insurance I had (I was clueless) and figured out how to save me money, despite the fact that I was desperate for new glasses, insurance applied or no. I left there feeling so good about my experience and relieved to know new glasses were on their way! CALL THEM--you'll be glad you did--seriously!

Dr. E. McIntosh gave me the worst eye exam I have ever had in my life.. It took about 15 min after which she rushed me back to the register and charged me 60$. She then gave me the wrong prescription. After talking a closer look at it, I realized she didn't give me an accurate eye exam at all. She just used the prescription she had on file from 2 yrs back.. when I returned the next day to change my prescription she was late for work and ignored me when I addressed her.. She then gave another lady the same 15min exam she gave me..MY ENTIRE EXPERIENCE THERE WAS AWFUL....

I have been searching for a new eye place for over a year , most places just are in a hurry and don't truly care about patients, this place does , so thankful Iran across them, staff is super friendly, will be going back!

Ordered a pair of glasses. Called a week later. Order not ready. 10 days later I called to check on the order. Was then informed my order had been cancelled the same day it was ordered. The store manager told us the lab had tried everything possible to make the std single vision lens to fit but nothing would work. Why did I have to call and wait that long. Was also told my insurance was reversed but when I went to another store to get glasses nothing has been done.
