I purchased my first pair of high end eyeglasses from my eye doctor, and the experience has not been ideal. When I went to pick up my glasses I had to wait an hour. The man who was there ahead of me asked where his place in line was, I knew then that there would be trouble. After an hour of waiting, and no one updating me, I asked if I could just get my glasses because I had another appointment in 15 minutes. My mistake, I now have a $400, distorted pair of lenses. I called to let them know, and they said I would have to come in and wait for a lab tech to see me instead of just dropping them off. She then told me that it would most likely be a long wait before they can get me in. Why can I not just make an appointment?
