Midtown Eye Care

Had an appointment yesterday. Now, this appointment was made, canceled by me, rescheduled, and then snowed out for a week. Finally got the exam yesterday. The staff was incredibly friendly and kind throughout the process, and kept me fully informed through the weather nonsense. Once I got to the appointment, I came in prepared for a wait, but was almost immediately brought back. The exam was thorough and both the assistant and the doctor were clear about what was happening. The doctor seemed happy to answer my questions, and I felt very heard and understood about my concerns. I wanted a copy of my prescription to order new glasses, but my eyes were dilated during the exam and it was more uncomfortable this time than it had been before, so I was thinking of other things when I left, and forgot to ask for the prescription. I remember the doctor letting the front desk staff know, and them acknowledging it, but they were also trying to close and were taking care of me, and it was forgotten. I called this morning, and the call lasted less than a minute, and my prescription was emailed to me. No problems at all. Overall, very impressed with the entire facility. They seem to be very up-to-date with exam equipment and with any new tech coming out for eye care. It felt well-rounded, and I will likely be going back.

Dr. Powelson and the team are amazing. I had been seeing another doctor and had gotten my glasses from another provider and was having problems focusing my vision. I passed by Midtown Eye Care every day, so one day I just stopped in on a whim. The staff members were kind enough to take a look at my lenses and frame and make some adjustments, even though I wasn't one of their patients. I decided to go ahead and make an appointment to have my prescription redone. They were super meticulous and helpful. They have cutting Edge technology and their doctors are highly trained in all the latest techniques. Unfortunately, because my prescription is a little tricky (perfect near vision, horrible far vision, astigmatism, etc.), it took multiple tries to get my progressive lenses just right. Thankfully, they did not get annoyed with my multiple returns for slight tweaks. They offered lots of options, educated me so I could make informed decisions based on my lifestyle, and encouraged experimentation. On the fourth try, I think we finally got everything just right. I can't tell you how grateful I am for Dr. Powelson and the entire staff being so patient, accommodating, and absolutely determined to correct my vision to perfection. I am recommending them to my family and friends, and I plan to make an appointment for my mother very soon. Thanks again!

EXCEPTIONAL!!!!! Customer Service. We were walk-in just inquiring about an appointment. We were seen the same day within 20 minutes of arrival. Friendly, Courteous and Professional staff. Didn't like the services that Dr. Powelson provided. I was rushed. My allergies were bothering me and he acted as though I was contagious. I will not not to go back. I wonder if I can get my prescription filled else?

The Doctor awesome. Except for the young lady that assist me the front staff was not friendly just enough to appeared professional, but not friendly so as I take my money somewhere else. The doctors are great.

I've received excellent care from Midtown Eye Care and Dr. Jared Powelson. His recommendation for cataract surgery and follow up proved to be very efficient. My current progressive lens prescription provides excellent near and far vision in both daylight and night.

I went here about three year ago used my insurance and still paid too much for one pair of glasses,I had issues with the glasses they had left a ring on sore my nose and had my ears score so I took them back the next day all they did was adjust them. They refuse to refund me or give me another pair so no I would not recommend this place. Like I said you people refuse to take a pair of glasses back due to the fact I had issues with them plus the fact when I pick out a pair of glasses there were no prices on the glasses while you on here saying what I pick out and what about the fact you refuse to take them back and it was then 24 hours and exchange them out for something else answer that question

Incredibly kind people working here. Helped me out in an emergency situation while I was visiting from another country. Very thankful.
