Great experience all around! Did not have to wait long (important when you have a toddler as the patient) and Dr Pandya has a wonderful bedside manner which made my child feel comfortable instead of nervous. Would highly recommend!

I have never made a review in my life, but this was absolutely the worst experience I've ever had just trying to schedule my daughter an apt. I have called five different times three out of the Five times I was told "please leave your name and number and we will call you after clinic we very busy and there's only two of us." I am a school teacher and not to mention that I was put on hold both times over 10 minutes. I am mainly writing this review, hoping that the right person sees it and maybe addresses the problem. I have Heard wonderful things about the doctor so I am speaking On my experience with the Front Desk. Save the time and call someone else.

Do not schedule an appointment for your child here--especially with Dr. Govan. If you see her, Run as fast as you can with your kids, of course. She doesn't have much experience and the clinic is like a revolving door. The turnover rate is horrible at Pandya Lipman Eye Specialist! Pandya Lipman Eye Specialist does not have the equipment to perform diagnostic images (such as X-rays or eye imaging). As a result, patients & parents must rely solely on the doctor's assessment without supporting images. During our visit on February 16, 2025, Dr. Govan stated that nothing was wrong with my child's eyes. I found this concerning, as my child has been wearing glasses for the past two years. At LeBonheur Children's Hospital, where my child was sedated for a comprehensive eye examination. We were advised that my daughter will need to wear glasses for the rest of her life. When I requested a second opinion, Dr. Govan informed me that she was releasing my children as patients from Pandya Lipman Eye Specialists as if I haven't spent several $$$ in eye wear at East Memphis location! Very disrespectful! Furthermore, to make the situation worse. Dr Govan wrote a prescription for my oldest son who has never needed glasses. This experience left me with concerns about the accuracy of the assessment and overall quality of care. Based on unprofessionalism, I recommend seeking care elsewhere--particularly at a facility equipped to perform and document appropriate diagnostic imaging. I will update this review once we receive the second opinion from Lebonheur Children Hospital where they perform full eye exams with X-rays and diagnostic. Dr Pandya, please hire more skilled doctors and friendly front desk staff!

My son and I had a great experience visiting the eye doctor. It was truly a one stop shop. I enjoyed the waiting room things were peaceful and the staff was informed on next steps.

As other reviewers recently stated, the office staff is unprofessional and not friendly or helpful at all. When you arrive to pick up glasses, they make you feel like you are inconveniencing them by being there. They even keep the door locked and got mad when another customer showed up and knocked needing to get in. We had to pick out a replacement pair of glasses and the selection was limited. Maybe it was on a day where they were disorganized, but the wall was half empty. The glasses tech looked at a photo of the glasses we were attempting to replace, she said I am 99% sure this pair online is the frame you have. They weren't any where close to what we had and I told her they didn't fit his head, nor is it the right pair and that he is unable to wear them. She smirked and said "well, these are yours now, if you leave them here, we will throw them away." Doctor experience a year ago was wonderful, the glasses portion... not ideal. We will be going elsewhere.

The doctor is amazing with children. My son didn't even know he was being examined. We have followed her advice and his vision is improving!

Dr.Govan was great! She was very knowledgeable and kind! Would highly recommend. The front desk people could use a little attitude adjustment but the doctor was great

I tried to change my appointment today and was met with the rudest receptionist I've ever come across! Her attitude was so disrespectful and lacked professionalism. She is not fit for working around people and it felt that she was being racist as soon as she heard my foreign accent. If the clinic keeps hiring these type of MEDIOCRE receptionist ,YOU WILL LOSE LOTS OF PATIENTS. Never coming back again!!! If I could give zero stars I would.
