Total Eye Care should reconsider referring patients to Eye Specialty Group unless it can be confident in the quality and consistency of care being provided. All patients deserve respectful, attentive, and professional treatment, regardless of whether they have one insurance policy, two insurance policies, or none at all. Medical referrals should be based on the standard of care and patient well-being, not personal relationships or familiarity with staff. Quality treatment and strong customer service should always be the priority.

If you are looking for an optometrist, this facility appears to be great. After my first visit, I was scheduled for a follow up with Dr. Irvine...he appeared more interested in performing a procedure than patient care. Response to issues with glare, cloudiness in the right eye and issues driving at night...don't drive at night. We will schedule you for a new prescription. A month waiting for an appointment, a $150 copay for a procedure he did not perform, and just brush off any questions you have is just not acceptable to me, it should not be acceptable to Total Eye Care.
