I had a short novel typed up, but to save you some time, I'm going with a shorter version: I don't recommend them. They used to be good, however now they have significantly cut their MD staff down. My vision was not properly assessed by the MD during my appt, everyone was snarky and rude (with the exception of the sweet tech!), and the wait was hours long. After I declined an optional test that costs extra $, they did it anyways, and of course charged me for it. Definitely will never be back.

Dr RolondoToyos performed a procedure on my eyes that caused an eye infection. He nor his office would return my calls for help due to the condition. He prescribed steroid eye drops without directions other than one drop 4 x daily. I had severe pain, watering and itching eyes until I was able to get an appointment with another Ophthalmologist. I will never use his incompetence service again. Worst so called Dr I've ever seen . May I add that I had been seen by Dr Alison Moore at Toyos Clinic for over 3 years and my eyes had been doing great. Then, when time for my 6 month check, she was no longer there and that's when I saw Dr Rolondo Toyos.

It's always a pleasure to visit Toyos Clinic. I love it when Melissa Toyos comes to town and I can see her. She is so knowledgeable about all things anti-aging and has reasonable prices to match her kindness. Her staff of helpers are the BEST too!

About Toyos Clinic

Toyos Clinic was established in 1998 when Dr. Rolando Toyos was recruited by St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to staff a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Jackson, Tennessee. Dr. Toyos was responsible for eye care at the NICU for 10 years and served as the Medical Director of the Jackson Madison Surgery Center. He opened a clinic in Memphis when the Memphis Grizzlies asked him to be the team's ophthalmologist. Melissa Toyos, MD was recruited by one the largest ophthalmology practices in the country, Discover Vision in Kansas City where she became the first and only female partner. She became a partner in Toyos Clinic in 2014.
