I had my PRK procedure done on 12/6/19. I was originally recommended to Dr. January, as he is really the best, but he was unavailable the day of my surgery, so Dr. Merkley did it instead. I was really nervous and scared to do PRK, because I've had Lasik done before, but everything went better than expected. And it is super quick! A few seconds per eye. Amazingly, there was no real pain. My recovery/healing after the procedure went well too. I would say on a scale of 1-10, my pain/discomfort level was only about a 5-6. I'm glad I finally stopped putting this off and got it done. My experience at Joffe MediCenter was really good. Shai, Dr. Do, Dr. Su, and the nurse staff were all super friendly, and attentive to me during each visit. I highly recommend coming here for your Lasik or PRK needs. Great service! For someone as myself, who has not had any "major" procedure done before now, JMC associates and the center's atmosphere will make you feel comfortable enough to have a procedure done - if you choose to do Lasik! Bonus: Their T-SHIRT is looks good too!

Decided that i wanted 20/20 vision in 2020. 24hours after my procedure I can see a little better than 20/20. After 20 years of wearing contacts, since i was 8 years old, I'm excited to not have to wear them anymore. To go from not being able to see my hand in front of my face 1 foot away to not being able to see just as if I had my glasses on is awesome.

Staff was amazing. Very reassuring on the day of treatment. 24 hours after treatment my vision is 20/15! Price was lower than other places that I've researched. They were willing to work with me for my no interest payment plan. It is through Care Credit. I was nervous going into the procedure but they definitely do everything to make you as comfortable as they can. Would definitely recommend.

The whole staff is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable. My procedure was very easy and quick. The consultations are quick as well but very thorough. They answered all my questions and were very informative. Dr. January made me feel calm during the whole procedure. There was discomfort after surgery but only lasted for about an hour. Everything felt fine after my 5hr nap. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

I had a great experience both in my original exam and for my surgery. The staff is very friendly, informative and really set you at ease. The space itself is clean and comfortable and you do not feel like it's a cattle call. The procedure to not take very long, 1 hour from entering the building to procedure end. I've had great results, driving at night the day after my appointment and been working at my computer every day almost since. Their pricing is more competitive than most and they offer financing options as well. They just made the entire thing very easy!

Everyone was so nice and comforting! Sabrina was wonderful and helped out so much when I had to move my surgery date! I can't wait to have my surgery in January and I will update my review for how the process went.
