I had a great experience at this doctor's office, and Jasmine truly made the visit exceptional. From the moment I arrived, Jamar was kind, professional, and welcoming, which immediately put me at ease. Jasmine took the time to listen, answered my questions thoroughly, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. It's clear that Jasmine genuinely cares about patients and goes above and beyond to provide excellent care. I really appreciate her compassion and attention to detail. Highly recommend this office, especially if you have the chance to work with Jasmine!

The entire staff has been absolutely great. Chrissy is such a calming person and just amazing; I love that no matter how many questions we ask the staff takes time to answer and address any concerns they are always patient and reassuring. Retina Associates has far beyond exceeded expectations in patient care.

Chrissy Dough was very friendly and attentive. She was able to communicate in Spanish with my elderly mother during her check. We really enjoyed her friendly tone. We look forward to seeing her in our next visit.

Unfortunately both experiences I've had with Retina consultant of Texas have been negative. I was referred to them by my optometrist for further testing. To be more specific, I was referred to see a Neuro Opto. It took weeks to get me scheduled only yo find out when I got in the doctor's room that I'd be seeing an optomologist that morning. I pushed back and told them I was supposed to see a neuro optomologist, to which they said the neuro was off that day and that Unfortunately they couldn't accommodate the visit I needed. They insisted I still see the regular opto and then eventually see the neuro. I refused and left. Finally, after several weeks, they did schedule me to see the neuro optomologist. They collected my co-pay ahead of time and made me fill up all the pertinent paperwork. Well, upon arrival for my visit, they said they'd tried to call me the day before to let me know that the neuro was still fairly new to the practice and as such not in network that if I wanted to see her, my out of pocket was going to be more than $700. Needless to say, this was another failed visit. They had 5 opportunities to tell me that the neuro wasn't in network, but they opted to wait for the day before the visit to call me and let me know. The lady at the front was super sweet and apologized but truth be told, I won't be scheduling with them anymore.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Yes, the facility is clean but the entire rest of the practice's experience is MESSY! I have been 4 times and had a negative experience each time, dating back to 2024. All 4 appointments have been cancelled or rescheduled last minute by them. One appointment they reached out to me 15 minutes before my appointment to cancel, when I was already there. I ended up having to go twice for the same appointment which was double the expense, double the time. Yesterday, I showed up to an appointment (again they rescheduled to a week later after the original appt) to check in and the ladies at the front desk didn't have my orders from the referring doctor. This appointment was scheduled over a month ago and was a referral. Retina reached out to ME to schedule and they showed no proactive measures once I was there to contact the DR for my orders. They made my husband do all the work after admitting they normally have a person who confirms this and "they must not have". Again their response was for me to come back again, double the expense, double the time, double the uncomfortable experience. I hope to never come back here, the only person I recommend is Dr. Brown. Do not waste your time on Dr. Larkin. And honestly, do better to everyone else at the Retina Consultants of Texas.

Chrissy Dough EXTREMELY friendly and VERY helpful with her Spanish. She took good care of my 86 year old father. She was very patient with him. My father understood her clearly

The waiting area is very clean and open. The staff is friendly and you're seen right away. They have extremely early appointments which makes is convenient for someone as busy as me. Dr. Larkin is sweet and Angelica is very helpful. She's friendly and helped my teenager throughout her appointment. The staff is very knowledgeable!

My husband needed to get a Detached Retina fixed. From day 1, we were incredibly impressed with everyone. Dr. Major was fantastic and all the Dr's who took part in his follow up. When we left Takqueria M. and Dia T. were just as sweet as could be. I have recommended this business on my Facebook already. Eye Surgery can really scared you, but I know Ron went to the right place!
