From start to finish, this was an exceptional experience. The practice uses truly state-of-the-art testing, and I was thrilled to learn they've done away with the dreaded puff-of-air test -- a huge plus.
The patient technician, Ashley, who worked with me was absolutely wonderful -- gentle, attentive, and professional -- and I was genuinely impressed to learn it was only her second day with the team. She made me feel completely at ease.
Kalid at the front was outstanding. He was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to clearly explain my insurance benefits, lens options, and costs without ever making the process feel overwhelming. His professionalism and patience made selecting glasses easy and stress-free.
Dr. Bass was equally impressive -- highly knowledgeable, thorough, and clear in explaining every part of the exam and results. I felt informed, confident, and very well cared for throughout the visit.
Overall, this was an outstanding experience with an exceptional team. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for excellent care, modern technology, and genuinely kind, professional staff.
After years of dealing with severe eye strain and headaches from countless hours of screen time and document review as an independent landman, I finally found real relief at Bass Eye Care in Fort Worth.
Dr. Bass was incredibly kind, empathetic, and highly skilled throughout the entire visit. He took the time to really listen, asked thoughtful questions, and carefully dug into the root cause of my symptoms, rather than just rushing to a quick fix. For years I had simply lived with the pain and vision issues, but he pinpointed that my problems were tied to prolonged near work and recommended Neurolens glasses as the solution.
The difference has been remarkable. Since getting my Neurolens glasses, my eye strain and headaches have dramatically improved, and I can work for longer periods without the constant discomfort that used to be part of my everyday life.
His wife was also wonderful to work with--very friendly, professional, and patient as she helped me get fitted with the perfect frame. She made sure everything felt right and looked great, and I walked out with a beautiful pair of glasses that I'm genuinely proud to wear.
Bass Eye Care is the kind of place where you feel truly cared for as a person, not just another appointment on the schedule. I can't recommend Dr. Bass and his team enough to anyone dealing with eye strain, headaches, or vision issues from long hours on screens.
Dr. Bass is an amazing eye doctor. I need special scleral contacts due to keratoconus. I had been to 3 other eye doctors, one of them a keratoconus specialist, and I was never able to get lenses that were comfortable enough for me to wear more than a few hours. They either got foggy before lunch or actually hurt. I read about Dr. Bass on a Facebook keratoconus group and made an appointment. I am so glad I did. He and his staff are so nice. He tried some tester lenses on me in his office and found the right fit for me. When the lenses with my prescription came they were great, but Dr Bass thought he could get them better, and he did. I can wear my new lenses all day long with no fogging and no pain and I can see so much better than I could with my glasses. If you need a new eye doctor definitely give Dr. Bass a try.
Dr. Bass is so kind and compassionate. He listens and explains the details of my treatments. His staff is always warm and welcoming. I would recommend Bass Eye Care to anyone seeking a great vision care experience!
Bass Eye Care is great. Dr Bass is an exceptional Dr as well as human being. I have been a patient of Dr Bass for over 20 years and I can't see myself going to anyone else. The staff is great as well as the selection of eyewear, and the care they give to each and every patient.
The staff was warm, professional, and attentive throughout my visit. Everything was explained clearly, from the testing process to insurance and eyewear options, making the entire experience feel easy and stress-free. The doctor was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain results in a way that was easy to understand.
An outstanding experience from start to finish!!!
Highly recommend this practice for excellent care, modern technology, and exceptional service.
Courteous, knowledgeable, professional, time-efficient and I only needed a nose pad replacement. He not only replaced one but both so they would match. Did not accept payment for services rendered. I have never been a client at Bass Eye Care. Very impressed with entire staff. Thank you Bass Eye Care.
No thank you. Front end staff exceptionally rude. They really didn't want to let us in. We were unaware that you really needed an appointment to shop for eyewear. We already have the prescriptions. The lady at the desk kept hounding us about insurance and wanting to look up our coverage. We know what our coverage is and many times we buy multiple pairs of glasses and don't use the insurance on some of the pairs we buy. It's funny to be in an eyewear store and they act like you can't afford to look around. Guess I should have been wearing my curated pair instead of my Meta glasses.
