My wife and I had a great experience with Dr. Hopkin! Our last optometrist always made us feel rushed, like we were just another appointment, and they were always pushing their in-store glasses and contacts on us. We didn't feel any of this with Dr. Hopkin. He was efficient without making us feel rushed, friendly, and thorough. We didn't feel sold to or like we were "just another appointment". I would highly recommend Dr. Hopkin if you're tired of the "Doc in a box" feeling of other clinics and you want a great experience.

I have been seeing Dr. Hopkin since 2009. A fantastic optometrist at a previous practice, he still is today, but at his own practice, at Excel Eye Care of Texas. He takes his work seriously and is diligent, thorough, and very compassionate. I really like not having to have my pupils dilated and still being able to have all of my regular optical tests done. I never feel rushed. He invites you to ask any questions you may have about your eye health. If you are looking for an optometrist, I highly recommend Dr. Hopkin.

Dr. Hopkins is terrific, very patient and thorough. He changed my prescription (it was too strong before) and it is so much better now. I won't go anywhere else for future eye exams, highly recommend!

Amazing professional and very knowledgeable. Very different from the multiple eye exams we have been to for my daughter. He really did take a long time asking her questions during the exam part when adjusting for contacts. We will be back definitely.

We have had the best experience with Dr.Hopkins. He is kind, knowledgeable, patient and genuinely cares about the well being of his patients. He takes his time with each consultation and patiently listens to his patients. We have never felt rushed at his office. He has been great with my sons 6&8. My 8 year is always excited to go get his eye exams and always comments on how kind Dr. Hopkins is and how he enjoys that he always answers his questions, listens to his stories and is always genuinely interested. His staff have always been kind and inviting. We are new to the area so we had to look around for a new optometrist for my son and I. The optometrist we saw before Dr. Hopkins was horrible and we are so glad we found his office after having to deal with a horrible situation elsewhere. If you are looking for an optometrist in the north Fort Worth area definitely check out Dr. Hopkins at Excel Eye Care and look no further. You will not be disappointed.

I have seen MANY eye care providers, and am so lucky we finally found Dr. Hopkin. His staff is very organized and kind, and is able to help monitor my potential glaucoma in addition to regular exams. I drive about 40 minutes to see this doctor and would drive longer. Phenomenal care all around.

Dr. Hopkin at Excel Eye Care of Texas is to be commended for pro-actively suggesting I get Rx computer glasses. As a computer analyst and hobby genealogist working on dual 27" monitors, my new Rx computer glasses are the best thing since sliced bread! Just wish I knew about them a long time ago when I started using progressive lenses. Thank you, Dr. Hopkin!!! I appreciate your expertise.

Been to Excel Eye Care for years. Love the place and the people. They accepted my insurance. So there is no reason to think otherwise. Well, they' re no long billing any insurance. You will pay out of pocket. However, they will provide an itemized receipt for you to submit with your insurance. I don't even know if my insurance will consider this as Out Of Network. There is no upfront info regarding this change on the main webpage. You have to dig around a bit, especially difficult if you do this on your cell phone which most of us operate nowadays. Now I have to find a new optometrist that accepts insurance which is unfortunate because I do like this place.
