I am a new patient of Dr. Amy Hong at Key-Whitman Eye Center in North Fort Worth. My husband and I moved to Texas four years ago and found a new ophthalmologist, but after several appointments, we didn't feel that we were being evaluated very thoroughly. We found Dr. Hong and at my appointment she did the most extensive eye examination I have ever had. She spent an afternoon doing many tests and, unfortunately, determined that I have glaucoma. There was no indication from my previous doctor that I had anything to be concerned with. I credit Dr. Hong for diagnosing me, determining that it was in fairly early stages and prescribing drops to begin management of the condition. I truly believe that without Dr. Hong's complete examination I would still be living with this condition and having it continue to get worse. I have the highest respect for her diligence, thoroughness and kindness in explaining what glaucoma is and its treatment. She is an amazing person and doctor.

They addressed my problems and spoke about them in terms I can understand. I really appreciated them. I saw Dr Hong and Dr Sanchez. I will continue to see them both once a year. Dr. Barke did my cataract surgery six months ago. I couldn't be happier...the morning after my surgery I opened the door and I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
