It's no surprise why this clinic has so many one star reviews! Call service is rude! Didn't even allow me to finish speaking, she spoke over me and told me to call back. Dr. Marvelli mocked me as I was trying to translate to my father at his last appointment which was also rude. Everyone at this location is unprofessional! We will be looking for a new Eye dr after today!

Its ashame that some self centered Karen would give a one star rating when small business was forced to close early one day. Im guessing she wanted some one to make a special trip to unlock the doors for her. Im sure she never had an emergency in her life. These kinds of reviews are revealing of the reviewer, not the business. What a clown. I've been here twice, all the way from Ellis County. Both times staff was courteous and prompt. Dr. Marveli is professional and staff is well trained. If you live in the area thus OTHAMOLOGIST, is a great provider to see for your total eye care. An MD with an optician. You dont see that very often.

Dr Marvel is marvellous and his team are exceptional.

I have been going to this location for about three years. The receptionists is always courteous and polite. The wait to see the doctor usually is about 10-15 minutes. They are always concerned about your comfort and privacy. The doctor is down to earth and takes his time and checks from all angles to make a proper diagnosis. They keep a clean facility including the restrooms. If you are not able to pay all they are willing to work with you. They have free parking with handicap parking. They have a bus stop out front and the number 6 runs every hour. If you have diabetes and concern about glaucoma or cataracts then they have special equipment to Diagnoses those conditions!

I am disappointed in the service at the Hurst location. I have been a patient for a few years now. When I ordered my contacts, I asked how long they would be open and was told until five. I made plans to arrive after I got off of work, and arrived at 4:30 only to find the office locked and closed down. After calling the Fort Worth location, I discovered that they closed early. There was no offer of solution other than "I guess come back on Wednesday." It has been very difficult for me to find a time that my schedule allows, and to offload the responsibility of closing earlier onto the customer is quite unprofessional. I was told the office called me, but I was unable to answer a call from a random number and the office did not leave a voicemail. After I pick up my already-paid-for contacts I will be taking my business elsewhere .

I took my wife who had an issue with her eyes, and they got her in the same day quickly to do a checkup. My wife got in and out of there in about an hour, and calmed our fears that something very negative had happened to her. The staff was kind as well. Thank you Marvel Eye Center!

Had to see Dr. to have a foreign object removed from eye. 1st visit gave me opthalmic antibiotics and steroid to clear up inflammation, told to come back in a week, 2nd visit - inflammation was still too severe asked to come back in 2 weeks. 3rd visit - removed object with no complications. 2 issues - 2nd visit was scheduled at 8:30AM, earlier than office opens to accomodate my need to be at an event by 10AM, sat outside office until normal 9AM opening and waited until 9:30, Dr. was late that day altogether, I had to leave and reschedule. Other issue - I would have rather cut the BS and just take it out faster, I am a student which I expressed with him and ended up spending >$900 on this tiny wood splinter. I would have liked to see more urgency and accomodation of my situation. Other than this, staff was extremely friendly, Dr. was extremely friendly and was clearly an expert. Did an excellent job removing object from eye and was thorough to rule out any further damage. Overall, went in with a terribly bloodshot, sensitive eye and now you cannot tell anything every happened.

Dr. Marvelli has been my eye doctor since I was a preemie in the NICU. I only have vision in 1 eye, and a few years ago, he discovered that my retina in my good eye was detaching. He referred me out to a retina specialist right away, so I could get surgery. Without Dr. Marvelli noticing the detachment, I probably wouldn't be able to see today.
