Metroplex Eye Care

This place lacks patient care or patient hospitality. Dr. Han does not instill confidence in her exam and made me feel like my eyes were my problem without offering any solutions. I had an exam redone where she did mess it up the first time causing me to spend extra money on a second exam. Both exams were rushed and that is how I ended up having to reschedule. Please hire another eye doctor. She seemed annoyed that she had to answer questions I had during both exams.

I just want to say ive been returning at this location over 10 years its legit my favorite location. But the service i received by Han vu , she was very condescending and very argumentative , spoke in a rude tone,she would tilt her head showing she was annoyed when i had questions or concerns.. real sassy....and when I requested the biweekly contact lenses she refused and said I must order the monthly, she made it very clear that a doctor can label me unfit for contacts. So i must order the monthly because that what she said. She made me feel like crap..i was super friendly with her and never argued back with her but the more nice I was the more she wanted to argue about the contacts that i wanted. She was so mean I even asked her if she was okay today? She said she was okay. She sorta calmed down afterwards. But the service i received by Han vu... I never experienced that here at this location. Sorry you had a bad day, but I didn't deserve that. I still love this place and the owner who takes care of this location. I will return but will request a different eye doctor.

The office is easy to find, friendly employees, greets you at the door, quick service. Helps you answer all questions you have. Prices are affordable. The best part is I took my daughter and she was not in a good mood and the receptionist printed out coloring image for her and gave her crayons. Kept her entertain. Recommend my mom and sister to this location and they love it.

I can't say enough good things about Metr Plex Eye Care! They truly went above and beyond to help me. I was visiting the Fort Worth area for a family vacation and realized I had forgotten to pack my contacts--panic mode set in. I walked into their office hoping they could somehow assist me, and they exceeded all expectations. Mindy and Liz were incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment I walked in. They contacted my hometown optometrist, obtained my prescription, and quickly got me what I needed so I could enjoy the rest of my trip stress-free. Their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to go out of their way made all the difference. If you're in the area, I highly recommend visiting Metr Plex Eye Care for all your eye care needs. Their customer service is unmatched, and they truly care about helping people. Thank you again, Mindy and Liz!

Stay away from this "optometrist" who has zero regard for patient care or PATIENT needs. I paid $100+ for a contact and lens exam WITH insurance. Only to get "prescribed" a contact brand that I SPECIFICALLY said I did NOT want. When I pointed that out during my visit I was told it didn't matter that it would still work for the brand I wanted. Well that was wrong. I tried filling the RX for the brand I want and was told I couldn't. I called metroplex and I was told I needed to SEE them again and pay for another visit to get prescribed the contact BRAND I've always used!! What a rip off! I'll definitely be submitting a complaint with my insurance.

I haven't had vision insurance for years and usually buy my glasses online, so I occasionally need to get an eye exam out-of-pocket (approx. $130 here). The staff was excellent and very friendly, as the other reviews note, but, more than this, Dr. Han Vu was professional, kind, and invested. The exam was comprehensive, and I even got to see a picture of my eyeballs on the computer, which was pretty neat.

Dr. David McPartlin & the ladies, Wendy & Liz, were outstanding!!! I'm 43 years old & I have never had such a pleasurable & fun experience getting an eye exam as today! Will definitely share my experience with friends, coworkers & family. Check this place out. You won't be disappointed!

It was a great experience from start to finish! Dr David was so caring and helpful, he clearly loves his job and it shows! The receptionists were very diligent and answered all my questions regarding my insurance and lenses .
