For a senior adult being a patient at a pediatric office, I was shown just as much care and grace from the staff, and specifically Dr. Packwood, as the children. I have struggled with double vision almost all of my life and about 10 years ago my optometrist referred me to Dr Hunt. Dr Hunt has successfully corrected my vision through either strabismus surgery or with corrective lenses as my vision keeps changing. Dr. Hunt and his staff have always been very professional & more than patient with me. About a year and a half ago Dr. Hunt performed a third Strabismus surgery. After my recovery, Dr Hunt & his staff found that I was still going to need corrective lenses with prism. They repeatedly & patiently tried different amounts of prisms, but my double vision continued. About Six weeks ago I went back as I continued to struggle with double vision. This time, however, I was examined by a technician that had never seen me before by the name of "Rupa Nayee". After a thorough examination she, through Dr. Hunt, provided me with a different prescription with corrective prisms. Thanks to "Rupa's" patience and expertise, I for the first time in about 2 years, am seeing a single image. Dr. Hunt and Rupa examined me again on Monday, October 13th and confirmed that my new glasses were working properly. Thank you - Dr. Hunt & Rupa!!!

I've taken my son, who has Down Syndrome, to eye doctors every year since he was 3. He's now 35 and has always struggled with vision problems. Dr. Skanchy is the first doctor to truly find the cause - severe keratoconus. He referred us to a retina and cornea specialist, and my son will now be receiving cornea transplants to restore his vision.
I can't help but wonder why no one ever told us about this before, but I am forever grateful to Dr. Skanchy for finally identifying the problem and guiding us through this process. Thanks to him, my son's life will be changed for the better!

I have nothing but praise for Dr.Norman and Pediatric Eye Specialists. Although I was the oldest patient there, they treated me with the greatest care and respect. Dr. Norman is an amazing person and physician. My Strabismus was complicated- double vision with a 10 degree torsion. He spent well over an hour with me examining my condition and explaining the surgery. At my pre-op appointment, he patiently went through the entire process again and assured me that he felt he could "fix" me. I honestly thought if he could make me 75% better, I'd be thrilled.
Day of the surgery, he had an amazing surgical team and spent time making sure i was comfortable with the coming procedure.
All of that is great, fantastic, etc.- but the most incredible thing is that his surgery completely corrected my strabismus!!
All i need now is readers for close work. Fantastic doctor and a great human being!
