I've been coming here for several years and have never had a bad experience. Everyone who works here is always so kind and efficient. Brittany really helped me out getting my glasses just before the end of the year. She was so helpful and patient with me and took the time to explain all the benefits I had available to me. She even helped me pick out my frames and had her coworkers come in for a second opinion! It was a great experience, I can't recommend this place enough.

I had a wonderful experience at James Eye! From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and efficient. The receptionists were sweet and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. Dr. James is absolutely amazing--sweet, professional, gentle, and truly dedicated. I felt completely cared for throughout the entire visit. Thank you for such warm and high-quality care!

I visited James Eye to take advantage of their promotion--buy one, get one free on Ray-Ban frames. I ended up paying over $700 for one pair, only to receive glasses that were defective from the start. When I tried them on, I discovered the hinges were broken, and the frames were so stretched out that they would not stay on my face. I returned to the store, where a staff member had to use heat four separate times just to get the frames to fit temporarily. When I asked what would happen when they inevitably stretched out again, I was told, "They're plastic, so they will stretch out again," and because the frames were discontinued, "there's nothing we can do." This is completely unacceptable. I paid a premium price for a product that arrived damaged and does not function as intended. Despite this, James Eye has refused to take any responsibility or provide a resolution. To make matters worse, the manager never even came out to speak with me directly. This review is not a reflection of the doctor, who is excellent, but rather of the staff and management's lack of accountability and poor customer service. I strongly urge potential customers to consider this experience before doing business with James Eye. Edit: The issue with my frames was ultimately resolved, but only after I escalated the matter to the owner directly. Unfortunately, the manager showed no willingness to assist and made no effort to communicate with me that day. She also falsely claimed that replacement frames were unavailable due to discontinuation--something the owner was later able to resolve without issue. Additionally, I found it inappropriate that the manager acknowledged seeing my review and asked for its removal. This experience reflects poorly on the quality of management and the level of care extended to patients. To be clear, this is not a reflection of the doctor, who has always provided exceptional care. However, due to this incident, my family and I will no longer be returning--an unfortunate decision given our high regard for the doctor.

I don't normally do reviews but after my recent visit I felt like I needed to share. I stopped in to see if they could repair glasses that I purchased elsewhere. Not only did they repair them good as new in no time but they didn't ask for anything. That speaks volumes for the customer service in this office. I had been looking for a place to repair my glasses but other offices wouldn't touch them since I didn't buy them there. I hope the manager sees this and knows that I appreciate her help with getting me back on the road! Thank you!

My husbands glasses were incorrect when we received them so we just wanted our deposit of 1/2 that we paid and now they want to charge a restocking fee of $172.00. We even provided the frames. We didn't expect a full refund but this was unacceptable.They never mentioned a restocking fee...unfair and dishonest

Once I arrived I was greeted by Kathy. Kathy was very friendly and had a welcoming smile. Check in was super easy and fast. I was seen today by Dr. Richter she was amazing! Very professional and explained in details. She took her time and answer all my questions. She honestly loves what she's doing. After my exam, Kathy explained the process of getting my glasses. The price wasn't all over the place. Kathy was prepared. She had everything broke down to the T. I definitely recommend James Eye Associates. Excellent customer services and very reasonable prices.
