There really are no words to describe just how thankful our family is for Dr Childress and his wife Patricia. Our 8 year old daughter has been in glasses since 18 months old for alternating intermittent exotropia, astigmatism, and nearsightedness. We saw two different ophthalmologist over the years and never felt right with either treatment plans. When our daughter began to struggle immensely in school with reading, writing, comprehension and numerous other things, it was heart breaking as a parent to see this. When our daughter was diagnosed with dyslexia and yet interventions were not helping we knew we needed to look further to find answers. When we found Dr. Childress our lives but most importantly our daughters life was changed for ever. He gave us answers and information we in the years of this struggle had never heard of. It was not until her 9th or so session of vision therapy did we see the changes in our daughter that we had so longed been praying for.
