I have had a phenomenal experience here. I've been wearing scleral lenses for years and the week of vacation one suddenly broke. After trying to get to through to my old location and being told I can't be seen for until following month, I was referred to Dr Tompkins and I will never look back! She and all the staff is have encountered have been nothing less than kind and profesional. Best of all, everything was done in one location for my scleral lenses! Never have I felt like I'm just going through a rotating door like at other places. I will recommend this place to everyone!

This review is long overdue as my family has been seeing Dr. Raley for going on 7 years now, and all it took was my first appointment with her to know she would be my forever Optometrist. I was diagnosed with vision issues at 5 years old (though I suffered well before that) and I have seen my fair share of Optometrists through the years. The genuine passion she has shows not only by how she keeps up with the latest research or how she has the newest technologies on site, but how she is genuinely there for each of her patients and their various needs. She's really helped me manage my high ametropia as best we can and was even there for my family through a couple eye emergencies! One of those emergencies was after hours on a holiday weekend at that! If you're reading reviews to see if you should book as a new patient, I can promise you that you won't regret booking with Refined Eye Care!! Thank you Dr. Raley for all that you do!!

Dr. Jessica Tomkins is exceptional. She is thorough, professional, and truly takes the time to listen. I never felt rushed and left understanding exactly what was going on. I've never had glasses before, and her team made the entire process so easy -- helping me find the perfect pair while making sure I felt confident and comfortable. I cannot say enough good things. If you're even thinking about scheduling an eye exam, stop waiting and go see Dr. Tomkins.

Dr. Raley at Refined Eye Care in New Braunfels is fantastic! She was incredibly thorough and took the time to explain everything during my eye exam. The entire staff was friendly and professional, and the office is clean and welcoming. I felt well cared for from start to finish. I was looking for a new eye doctor and came across Dr Raley on Apple Maps. When I arrived at her office, her receptionist greeted me and my daughter with a warm smile and a welcome greeting. I unfortunately had to take my daughter with me but that did not bother Dr. Raley and her staff. They were very accommodating and even explained to my daughter some of the images the Dr. was explaining to me. I had a wonderful experience visiting Refine Eye Care last month. I was overdue for my glasses and contacts exams and when I called for an appointment, I was able to be seen within a week. The patient portal online was super easy to use and I love when everything is digital. The office is modern, very clean, and appointed with elegant and feminine touches. Macy checked me in and did my initial exam. She was lovely, full of energy, and very detailed. Dr. Raley was very warm, very knowledgeable, and was able to fit me in new contacts that allow me to see well distance and closeup. She wanted a different axis for one eye than she had in stock so she fitted me with a sample and ordered another sample for me to make sure comfort was being met. I next met with Alyssa in the Eyewear Gallery. They have a huge selection of beautiful, unique frames. Unfortunately the pair I fell in love with were very expensive and with lenses would run me close to $800. I just can't see paying that much for a pair of glasses. That was the only negative and that's not any fault of theirs! Dr. Raley also wrote me a handwritten thank you card... who does that?!? She's earned my business for life!
