Grandview Eye

After having no luck with other doctors about my eye condition, where I woke up with blurry vision and dealt with it for over a month, Dr.Buzbee diagnosed me with dry eye (despite other doctors saying it wasn't dry eye) and put me on a recovery plan. So far it's been working out great- my vision is improving and even when I got some prescription eye drops the staff helped me to lower my out of pocket cost from $215 to $0! I highly recommend Dr.Buzbee if you have any vision related health issues, he will listen and do what's best for you, which is more than I can say for most optometrists in the area. I went from feeling helpless to more hopeful than ever.

Now I know why he he has been voted the best for years. The staff was excellent and helpful. Dr Buzbee paid attention and listened to me unlike other doctors. He will be my doctor from now on. Whole experience was 1000%.

Definitely would recommend. Had to walk in on a Monday morning with no appointment and being a new patient due to metal in my eye. Was seen pretty quickly. He was very direct and to the point, which I prefer over being talked in circles. The follow up visit was the same. Eye healed with no issues.

Great and friendly people, gave me an appointment the same day and they got me inn and out quickly, im self payed no insurance and the price was very reasonable, would give them 10stars if I had the option

The experience on this was very excellent, the doctor made sure of which lenses I needed to get and had a large variety of lenses to choose from. I recommend this doctor to who ever needs eye work done

Dr. Buzbee and his staff never fail to provide excellent care and services. I always feel like Dr. Buzbee goes the extra mile to make sure my glasses and contacts are just right, and his staff never fail to go the extra mile to make you feel welcome.

I had a disappointing experience at this clinic and would not recommend it to those seeking expert care, respect, and efficient service. Two days before my appointment, I ran out of contacts and was assured that I would receive new ones during my visit. Unfortunately, my appointment did not go as expected. After waiting 45 minutes for a technician and another hour for Dr. Buzbee, I discovered he had been casually chatting in the lobby while I waited. When Dr. Buzbee finally saw me, he immediately commented on how "ill-fitting" glasses caught his eye across the lobby before asking my name. He has repeatedly not listened to how I do not wear glasses, I was only wearing my emergency glasses for the past two day. He did not inquire about my preferences or needs. Despite explaining how I wanted contacts, he repeatedly insisted that I should wear glasses. Following a brief eye exam, I developed a strong headache. When I mentioned this to Dr. Buzbee, he attributed it to the long wait time. He did not do another examination to verify his measurements. My normal prescription is -5.75 L and -5.25 R, with my right eye being the better one. Dr. Buzbee prescribed -5.75 L and -6.50 R. He advised me to try the contacts for a week and then return. Unfortunately, the contacts caused severe headaches and throbbing in my right eye. When I returned to the clinic wearing glasses, I felt judged and overheard Dr. Buzbee dismissing my concerns to his technician. He believed nothing could be wrong and I was incorrect. After waiting another hour, I received a minimally adjusted prescription without even a re-exam. Dr. Buzbee was again seen joking with a customer in the lobby. His dismissive attitude made me feel unwelcome and unheard. Seeking a second opinion at Advanced Eye Care (I highly recommend) revealed that Dr. Buzbee's prescription was grossly incorrect in my right eye and the cause of my headaches. My original prescription was more accurate. Overall, this experience left me feeling frustrated and undervalued. EDIT: Regardless, of the status of your customer, the review was based on the services you provided which were substandard and unprofessional. As a student, I try to learn from good and bad examples. In your case, you are the bad. I will treat ALL patients with dignity and respect regardless of their backgrounds.

Fast and friendly service. Dr. Buzzbee is awesome my daughter enjoyed her visit. I never had to leave the lobby while he fully engaged her in the process of getting her glasses and explained everything to her. She felt very independent and confident, Thats greatly appreciated!
