First impression of office staff was correct, very unprofessional. My first appt was canceled by staff member and no one informed me. At my appointment the office staff didn't seem to know anything that was going on, I waited for a while and they finally squeezed me in. Appointment with the doctor went fine, upon leaving I paid my portion of the bill $139.00, insurance caught 80%. 3 months later I received ANOTHER bill from them, I called and spoke with the "Office Manager Melissa", who tried to explain that insurance doesn't pay the actual "prescription" if you need glasses. My complaint was that I should have been informed of this in advance, during the time I was paying the bill. She got huffy and offered to remove the amount since I was never informed by staff that this would be happening. I could tell this made her mad. I told her no, that I would take care of my bill and then I would cancel all my remaining appointments with Dr. Jackman. I guess this ticked her off because she hung up on me. I tried to call her back 3 other times to pay the bill and she would not answer, I ended up have to pay through the receptionist, then I canceled all my upcoming appts. Dr. Jackman can thank his office manager Melissa for losing patients.

The staff are the most unfriendly, starting from the receptionist. You don't feel welcome. They are so different from other clinics staff . This morning, I went to pick up my glasses, the optical staff came out and just handed me my glasses and said, " have a good day ". It surprised me because they don't intend for you to try it on and see if it fits you. I told her that I need to try it but the staff told me that I have to make an appointment for adjustments. I said, I don't need adjustment for now , I just need to find out if it is right for me. They expect you to just pick up your glasses, go home and for you to find out if it works or not.

Dr. Jackman is very knowledgeable. He explains things very simply, and he always goes the extra mile to make sure he takes care of his patients. I would recommend him to everyone!

He takes his time and explains everything and makes you feel very comfortable my kids, me and my husband all look forward to our exams.
